Product was used to program a replacement 3-button key fob/key for a 2013 Ford F-150. Item worked perfectly in under 15 minutes and spared me going to a dealer. Worked great on my 2012 Ford edge. Easy to program. Fyi your new programmed key will be a unlocked key. So it won't be limited by Ford mykey. Not an admin key just a unlocked key. In my case I had changed the battery in our car and somehow the mykey became activated on our only key restricting the speed. Ford wanted over $300 to cut,program and make it an admin key so could unlock my other key. This Simple key got me a unlocked key for under $100!

Getting the key cut was the hardest part of the whole process. I had to stop at four different places before I found someone willing (and able) to try. One place even refused because I didn’t buy the blank from them. Another issue is that not all employees know how to use the key cutter accurately — the cut has to be precise for the key to work properly. Once I finally got it cut, everything went smoothly on my 2008 Ford Edge. Programming the remote functions like door locks was a bit trickier than programming the key itself, but still manageable. Overall, I’m impressed. Definitely worth it if you're patient and don’t mind a little legwork to get the key cut properly.

DO NOT ORDER FROM AMAZON!!! These are only able to be used by the original customer for one specific car. After that, they are useless. People are returning them and then re-sold. I bought two and both were useless because they were used. Now I can’t reorder from Amazon. Buyer beware! Better to order straight from the manufacturer.

The price to rekey 2 keys at a dealer or through a locksmith was astronomical!!! This was really easy to use and now I have 2 keys! The only fee was having the keys cut & that was waaaaaay less than having the rekey done elsewhere.

Product works great, but good luck finding anyone who will cut the key for you without buying this from them.

Very easy to program the key

Simple and easy to follow process, worked as described, no issues programming while following the instructions that came with it. The hardest part was finding a place that would cut the key (metal part) in my city (most places would only cut a key blank they sold). After 3 months the ink is wearing off the buttons so hard to see lock and unlock symbol and sometimes the buttons do not work. The alarm button is super sensitive. Key and chip so far so good. So after 5 months the FOB part stopped working all together. Changed the battery - but that was not it. So all in would not recommend. Product quality on the FOB is just not there.

Super easy to install but a bit tricky to program, the instructions to program the lock/unlock on the fob didn’t work multiple times but I filled the ford f150 manual on setting up new key fobs and it worked. Beauty product saved me over 500$ as the dealership wanted $250 per key fob x2 of course and programming for 190$ for shop time… or 150$ from these fine people at toms keys. Gonna add 2 more keys to be safe

This key replacement is great very easy 👌 to setup as a admin key for my 2011 Ford F150 4x4 Super Crew Carb give full accessto MyKey, it takes less than 20min to program the new key, instructions provided is so easy to follow ..... love it 😀 ....

I followed the instructions to the letter. I have a 2014 ford mustang. If position one beeps continuously I had to try position 2. Which I did. The same thing ez install only beeps continuously. Why it does not work is frustrating. Someone please help me.
