A: No, you must buy separately. If you don't have the AC adaptor you can use 2 AA batteries

**Q: Does it come with a battery and battery cover**
A: It depends, most likely not, because most people lose theirs after the 14 years ago it was sold. It takes 2 size AA batteries, but the cover doesn't take away gameplay.

**Q: Is this legit?**
A: If you mean is this an original console made by Nintendo and not a Chinese knockoff, my system is definitely authentic.

**Q: Does the screen have color or is it only black and white**
A: Hi, yes this model does have a color screen.
