NGTeco Cloud Time Clock for Small Business, Real Remote Access, 4-in-1 Mode

**Positive Review** I have purchased three NGTeco TC1 devices so far, and I have been very impressed with their performance. They are an excellent option for virtually any work environment and provide a convenient and reliable way to manage employee attendance. One of the features I particularly appreciate is the flexibility it provides for users to sign in using either fingerprint or facial recognition. There is also a card sign-in option, which is especially useful for providing temporary access or passes to visitors without having to register their biometric information. The devices have been easy to use and have worked well for our needs. I would also like to acknowledge Michael and Ray for their assistance and support. Overall, I am very satisfied with the NGTeco TC1 and would definitely consider purchasing additional units in the future.

I had difficulty with the setup initially, but I called customer support and did not have to wait any significant length of time. Joseph helped me with the setup and was very kind and patient in guiding me through the setup which was surprisingly easy. For a cloud based system I thought there would be port configuration and a significantly difficult IT setup but once guided, the setup was phenomenally easy. I would easily recommend this device given this level of support. Update 8/17/2026: I had trouble with date ranges for my time-clock report so I tried their online chat help. They had an online agent option. They were able to remote in and show me where my settings needed to be changed. MAX was the name of the person who helped me in this case and he did a great job.

Don't buy this if you intend to keep track of employee work hour / timecard simple (buy the ngteco non-cloud versions instead, those are actual complete and usable product). This is NOT really a device for small business unless the business has strict enforcement on shifts. -It is missing critical features when compared to the non cloud older models. -Synchronization between the attendance and timecard broken at the time this post is written. (9/29/24). For one reason or another, the development of the web/mobile app feels rushed/incomplete. You can't edit anything related to the punches. You can create punches, timesheet, shift schedule, but you can't edit any of them. It feels like they never talked to any small business owner on what they actually need, and never bothered to look at what features the older models has, which has pretty much all the basic/critical features covered. Pro: - multiple device management - organization management (person/department/site/time zone) - good cloud update, punches are instantly reflected in the webpage - you can manage user and devices from web page/mobile device - can setup automatic email report at daily/weekly/month frequency ( BUT NO BIWEEKLY) - responsive/clean UI Con: - device needs to connect to internet, you can only access/manage records from mobile/webpage (older model can be managed via device screen/mobile) - you must add user, add timesheet, assign user to timesheet (aka setup shift), assign to device, before they can clock in. small business using only 1 device don't need this kind of complication. If you mess up, good luck having them show up in the timecard. - can't delete/modify punch - timecard management is buggy, punch doesn't always show up, date selection doesn't work properly either - timecard doesn't always synchronize after attendance punch is updated

We just got this time clock today, and needs to learn new advice. i called few times for questions and Joseph is very patience with me to help. The machine is good, the customer is very good as well.

Excellent Time Clocks & Outstanding Customer Service! This is the second time clock I’ve purchased from this company, and once again, I’m extremely satisfied. Their time clocks are user-friendly and straightforward to set up—even for someone like me who isn’t tech-savvy. While I initially found the setup a bit challenging, the company’s outstanding customer support has always made the process smooth. Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Joseph, a fantastic representative who walked me through every step with patience and expertise. His help was invaluable, and I truly appreciate his dedication to ensuring everything worked perfectly. The level of customer service this company provides is exceptional, and it’s one of the many reasons I continue to trust their products. If you’re looking for a reliable time clock with top-notch support, I highly recommend them!

I literally spent hours trying to set this thing up. Many steps are missing from the manual instructions. I had to call support over and over and even they gave differing information from one rep to the next! Data must be downloaded to an excel spreadsheet - no Word formatting; when face recognition is enabled, the clock punches everytime someone walks past the area, errors cannot be deleted citing some nonsense about European privacy, time on individual time sheets does NOT calculate for the entire period--jiust individual days and you must then manually do the calculations; hours are reported in Hours/Minutes ONLY - no conversion to Hours/Percentage which is needed to calculate payments. Holiday pay must be manually added for each employee. Daylight savings tme requires mnual reset each time. Far too many issues for a 21st century product! When bringing these issues to the attention of support, the response was "this is only designed for small businesses!" What the heck does that mean????? Small businesses are much busier than larger businesses and do not need to be wasting time. Who buys a computer-like device to then do manual calculations????

Customer support was very helpful in getting the system set up and running properly. Joseph was very kind and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend this product for small and medium business.

For the price it's good. Have had issues with registering face for few staff members. Software could be better. Reporting function is also weak. There is no pay period setup available. You have to select date range to download punches.

Clock completely shut down twice now, only about 6 months old. First time it rebooted it wont let admin access it had to call support to get it rebooted remotely by them. Just shut down again a couple weeks later. Says Admin "access denied" even though admin acess is set up online. Will need to retrieve it from site and have to get it rebooted again. Which means manual sign ins for a few days. Defeats the purpose of remote access as payroll is off site.
