Review: Works depending on type of internet connection - Impossible to use the App when internet IP is dynamic...so was useless at the cottage. It just won't connect. This is where I wanted to use it to reboot my modem and router and where outages often occur. Works well in the city where the connection is PPPoE. But haven't had modem/router problems in the past decade, so switch is not as useful here. Review: Works perfectly - I bought a second one! I am using the first one to ping my unifi Dreamteam machine and unifi UNVR recorder for my unifi cameras. I have a UPS and send shutdown command via ssh to those devices if the ups battery has less than 6 minutes left. In case the electricity comes back after the UPS battery die, then the two devices will automatically restart. But if the electricity comes back before the ups battery dies the unifi devices will stay off until someone unklug and plugs them. This will be now done by this device. The fine settings it allow help in the set up a lot. I LOVE IT! ## Features - Monitors Internet Connectivity and Automatically Cycles One or Both Outlets When Connection is Lost + User Definable Scheduled Power Cycling - Functional Out of the Box - Single Button Press Enables Auto Reset Function with Settings Appropriate for Most Situations - Automatically Control and Reboot any Remote Electrical Equipment such as Computers, Modems, Routers, DVRs, PLCs, Industrial Computers, etc. - Configure & Control Remotely Over the Internet via ezDevice Smartphone App, Cloud4UIS Web Service, any Web Browser, API, Skype or Google Hangouts/Chat - Pings Multiple Internet Sites to Determine Online Status - User Definable Targets & Fault Tolerance - 2 Independently Controlled 10A NEMA 5-15 (USA) 3 Prong Grounded Outlets; FCC Approved ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CL5J13V4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #95,399 in Computers ( See Top 100 in Computers ) #629 in Network Switches | | Brand | Proxicast | | Brand Name | Proxicast | | Circuit Type | 2-way | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Modems, Routers, DVRs, PLCs, Industrial Computers | | Connectivity Protocol | Wi-Fi | | Connector Type | Plug In | | Connector type | Plug In | | Contact Material | Metal | | Contact Type | Normally Closed | | Contact type | Normally Closed | | Control Method | App | | Control Type | Remote | | Current Rating | 10 Amps | | Current rating | 10 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 86 Reviews | | Included Components | UIS-722b Switch, Ethernet Cable, User Guide | | International Protection Rating | IP20 | | Item Dimensions | 16 x 9.5 x 0.3 centimeters | | Manufacturer | Proxicast | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model | UIS-722b | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Positions | 2 | | Operating Voltage | 120 Volts (AC) | | Operating voltage | 120 Volts (AC) | | Operation Mode | ON-OFF-ON | | Operation mode | ON-OFF-ON | | Part Number | PWR-UIS722b | | Specification Met | RoHS | | Switch Type | Push Button | | UPC | 850021295363 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 70 Degrees Celsius | | Wattage | 1100 watts | ## Product Details - **Connector type:** Plug In - **Contact type:** Normally Closed - **Current rating:** 10 Amps - **Operating voltage:** 120 Volts (AC) - **Operation mode:** ON-OFF-ON ## Images ![MSNSwitch2 Internet Enabled IP Remote Power Switch with Reboot - Control via Smartphone App, Cloud Service, Web Browser, API, Skype or Google Chat - 2 Independent AC Power Outlets (Model UIS-722b) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61shUe-7TjL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Works depending on type of internet connection *by D***C on 19 September 2024* Impossible to use the App when internet IP is dynamic...so was useless at the cottage. It just won't connect. This is where I wanted to use it to reboot my modem and router and where outages often occur. Works well in the city where the connection is PPPoE. But haven't had modem/router problems in the past decade, so switch is not as useful here. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly *by T***Z on 20 April 2026* I bought a second one! I LOVE IT! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great device for self-hosters and home lab enthusiasts *by L***R on 30 August 2025* Good PSU-like functionality for a home setup that provides some remote recoverability for folks running self-hosted services. Can cycle power using their cloud app (if sufficient connectivity is working) and can be set up to sense connectivity issues and reset power on both the modem/ONT and router to try to bring things back online. Software setup is fairly straightforward and doesn't require the cloud app if you just use the device's local IP address. ## Frequently Bought Together - MSNSwitch2 Internet Enabled IP Remote Power Switch with Reboot - Control via Smartphone App, Cloud Service, Web Browser, API, Skype or Google Chat - 2 Independent AC Power Outlets (Model UIS-722b) - NETGEAR 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Essentials Switch (GS305) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount - NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Essentials Switch (GS308) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/651416955-msnswitch2-internet-enabled-ip-remote-power-switch-with-reboot-control](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/651416955-msnswitch2-internet-enabled-ip-remote-power-switch-with-reboot-control) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
