Women’s Ghost Max 2 Running Shoe

Super cute and comfy! I loved my previous shoes for running, they were the New Balance Fresh Foam More v4. I didn’t really like the new look of their newer versions so I tried a different NB pair and didn’t like them as much as the mores. Friends suggested Brooks and Hokas an alternative. I tried on the Hokas but I didn’t like how much larger they made my feet look. I also have bunions and need a wide toe box for that reason so OnClouds aren’t comfy for me at all. I got this pair today and just went for my first run—I’m in love! They don’t need to be broken in as the fabric is easy on the feet. Even my bunions feel great in these on their first excursion! They have lots of cushion and they are also extremely cute. I like neutrals and pink and this was a nice combo of colors for me. While they are squishy they aren’t too squishy and they do offer good support. Hopefully they will be durable as other reviews have said they are. I got regular width B, and it has worked for my wide toe box just fine. Also fits true to size, I ordered my normal. These will be great for walking, running, and just for everyday wear. Love!

Absolutely love this style/model of Brooks! I normally wear a Women’s size 10 and needed to insert my orthotics. So I ordered the next size up (10.5 I believe). These are working out well. It saves me from buying shoes from the orthotist. The toe box is wider than other models which helps my toes relax and eases the discomfort of big toe arthritis and neuropathy. The color makes them work with any casual outfit or a ‘casual Friday’ work day. I was able to remove the laces and wash them in a shoe laundry bag on gentle cycle to remove the coffee I accidentally spilled on them.

I love these Brooks sneakers! Feels like I’m walking on a cloud. They are so comfortable. Very happy with them. They were delivered a day early, which was nice.

I really like the color I chose (light blue), they go with a lot of my wardrobe. I will say I absolutely loved the first version so much and I had high hopes for these as well! I really love how this second version feels more responsive than the first, like it’s cushioned very well and gives you bounce back. Perfect for my 2-4 mile walks everyday. It has better traction at the bottom compared to the first version, perfect for walking /running on pavement! I still love the stability, more of a neutral shoe though. The only con I have with this shoe is that when I first put it on it felt snug across the top of my foot. (Probably should’ve gotten wide which I didn’t have to to do in the first version) But as I began to wear them more, the upper part of the shoe molded to my foot and I don’t feel it being snug anymore. It feels good now. Over all this is a wonderful shoe, one of the comfiest I’ve ever put on my feet! Great for being on feet all day. No aches or pains after long hours in them!

These shoes were comfortable the second I put them on. I’ve been wearing them for 11 months. No blisters, tears, not too much tread off, no problems. They were a little bit dirty until my daughter borrowed them for a hike. You can see in the before picture how dirty she got them. I thought I was going to have to buy another pair. I decided to try washing them. I covered them in OxiClean, they sat overnight, sprayed again, then washing machine. I was amazed at how well they washed up. They look almost new. I highly recommend!

I was having foot issues (wearing another brand that I won't mention, but the podiatrist said that other brand is going to keep him in business for years to come!) when he gave me a list of shoes his orthopedic clinic recommends, which included this shoe on the list. LOVE this shoe! It's lightweight, very comfortable to stand in, and my foot problem is much better now that I made the switch to these shoes. I now own three pairs in two colors. In addition, to find all black in women's is sometimes hard, but this shoe comes in all black as well so I can also wear at work with my black dress slacks and not be so noticeable I'm in tennis shoes. I've owned and worn daily for six months now and they are still in great shape and when I look at them from the back the bottom base is not wearing down unevenly on one side as some of my cheaper shoes in the past would tend to do. In addition, I often find that my heel slips out in many shoes I've tried in the past but not these so perhaps the back is just slightly taller and/or hugs better? I will add it has good arch support that I haven't needed to put in those little arch cushions that I use from time to time in other brands in the past. I'm absolutely thrilled with this shoe!

I originally got these running shoes for walking, and they’ve made a huge difference for me. I have patellofemoral knee pain, and walking for long periods usually causes a lot of discomfort. But whenever I wear these, I feel almost immediate relief—it honestly feels like I have a “new” knee. They’re extremely comfortable, well-cushioned, and provide the kind of support I didn’t even realize I was missing until I tried them. My only downside is that I work in a formal office environment, so I can’t wear them every day. But on weekends, unless I’m going somewhere semi-formal, I’m basically living in these. I even plan my outfits around them just so I can wear them more 😅 They’ve truly been a game changer for my daily comfort, and I’m especially excited to use them on an upcoming trip to NYC. Normally, all the walking would be tough on my knees, but I already know these will make a huge difference. Highly recommend if you deal with knee pain or just want a super comfortable, supportive shoe!
