Just fantastic! I rarely write a review this quick but this pruner works beautifully! I Have a small ornamental tree that tops out at about8-10 feet and I normally to to prune with lopping shears of hedge clippers. This tool allows me to selectively prune the branches with no problem and instead of the tree looking all chopped up from hedge clippers or odd shape because I couldn't reach high enough with the loppers, let me trim the tree properly by thinning it out and keeping a natural tree look. I can't say enough great things about this pruner. Having said all of that, definitely don't try to cut any branch bigger than a half of an inch. you will ruin the pruner as the directions state clearly. I tried to get about a 3/4" branch and the head started twisting so I stopped and put my lopping shears on it. Make sure that if your doing comparisons with other pruners that they definitely com with METAL hand level! If these were plastic (with they are not, they're metal) I fell that I would have easily broken them. I highly recommend these for smaller tree and shrub trimming, just wonderful!

This is a well made tool for cutting small limbs and shrubs. I used it on by holly bushes. Using only a hand pruner, I end up with cuts and scrapes and bleeding profusely. With this 4 foot extension, I can reach all the shrub, cut it to a uniform height, and place it in a wheel borrow with out my hands or arms touching the stick ends of the plant. No more bending over or reaching across the top of the shrub either. I cut the time for pruning in half and was not nearly as tired when I finished. The cutter blade is very sharp and can handle up to 1/2 inch limbs. The cutter head will rotate 90 degrees to prevent me from twisting my hand to get to vertical limbs. The cutter blade can be locked shut easily to keep it safe when storing or transporting it. In summary this is the most usable tool I have purchased lately and I am very happy with it's performance.

I have been looking for a light weight set of pruners to prune a tree in my back patio. These clippers fit that description. I can stand on the ground and prune the new growth pretty easily. My tree looks great.

I don’t do reviews much but I really like this in the garden. I have a garden with 3 levels and now that I’m getting older it’s harder to get up to the top level.. This makes it so easy to reach without climbing up there. Now I can prune my flowers much easier and it holds onto the clippings so you can bring it back and toss it in the trash. Brilliant!

This GARTOL pole pruner is a great for my backyard. It is incredibly lightweight and doesn't tire out my arms. The cut-and-hold feature works great. It grips gently so it never drops stuff on the ground. I absolutely love the 180 degree rotating handle because it lets me change cutting angles instantly without twisting my wrists awkwardly. It feels sturdy, clips smoothly, and saves me from constantly hauling out the heavy ladder. Definitely worth the buy if you have citrus or apple trees!

I was able to cut my tree limbs along the path through the woods near where I live could do it very quickly. I really like the grabber for moving the small limbs away quickly.👍

I needed a way to clip these giant weeds/shrubs along the edge of the pond without dropping the clippings into the water. These clippers work perfectly. They are light enough that I can extend my arm and still have good control with one hand. It took some practice to grab the weed correctly so it was secure after clipping. The only down side is that by holding them below my feet the lock on the handle wanted to slide into place as I was working. But that wouldn't be a problem if you were using them over head. So far they have shown no signs of wear even after getting them wet several times. (I did rinse and hang them to dry afterwards.) Now the kids won't snag their fishing hooks on every cast. Worth every penny! I even used them blackberry picking the other day and they were great.

Surprisingly useful tool. Light, sharp, and easy to maneuver. Because of the pistol grip, you can reach much farther than with two handed shears/clippers which is much safer while in a ladder. I am impressed how it is able to cut thicker branches similar to a Felco 2. It has become an essential tool trimming tall hedges and trees. Seems very durable so far. If it breaks, I will buy another one.

Glad I purchased this pruner. Well made. Does not extend in length, only as long as it is. Nice and sharp.

The one is amazing, light weight, sharp and easy to use. I love the part that it holds the cut off stem, it really help to save a lot of time to clean up and makes the job much more easier. Love it!

Very sturdy mechanism. No slack when squeezing handle. Cuts as promised in description.
