Review: Works pretty Well ! - I recently bought the TP-Link TL-WA855RE model. I live in a bungalow with G+1, had trouble getting WiFi signals to my room on first floor. I connected with the WPS set-up, it is very easy to install with the WPS set-up. You have to turn on the WPS mode on your router and just press the WPS button the TP-link device, it will automatically detect the wifi and repeat the signal. You won't get a new wifi signal, instead you'll get the same SSID broadcasted as you get from the original WiFi router. Signals are robust and internet speeds are good. The wifi repeater reduces the bandwidth of speed to half, but it does not affect much as you don't get the Wi-Fi speed as promised by the ISP, you get 1/8th of it so, it doesn't matter, you get the same speed as you'd get from your original wifi router. Also for people finding it tough to turn on WPS in their router, change your encryption settings. I would recommend it for people facing difficulity to get WiFi signals in their bungalow.

Two options given to configure the extender Option 1 - is easy method but it's not properly working, i.e switching on wps button in router and then in the extender. I Googled and found out many had the same problem. Avoid this method & directly use option 2. Option 2 - Plug in the extender to a power source & wait till you get solid red light. In your laptop or pc disconnect your lan/wifi and connect to the extender wifi network. Goto browser and type the extender ip to goto the configuration page and do as instructed. So anyone buying this device can directly use 2nd option to configure. This will prevent you from unwanted doubt regarding whether this device works or not. I use 4mb (both upload & download) unlimited plan. Now I'm getting the same speed with this device in the location where i didn't get enough signal before. I've attached the pics in which u can see the device connected, speedtest & the wifi signal strength red is router signal & blue is extender signal.

I recently bought the TP-Link TL-WA855RE model. I live in a bungalow with G+1, had trouble getting WiFi signals to my room on first floor. I connected with the WPS set-up, it is very easy to install with the WPS set-up. You have to turn on the WPS mode on your router and just press the WPS button the TP-link device, it will automatically detect the wifi and repeat the signal. You won't get a new wifi signal, instead you'll get the same SSID broadcasted as you get from the original WiFi router. Signals are robust and internet speeds are good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply the best VFM Range Extender today

Awesome Range Extender. Trust me, just blindly buy this product. My D-link router is in the first floor and I usually get range even at the ground floor till some limited diameter of 10-15 Feet. The problem was when I needed internet beyond this 15 feet say at 40-50 feet distance separated by a lot of walls and doors in the ground floor, I was not able to get wifi range. I even placed my router in the ground floor and I was getting internet at both top and ground floors but I was still not getting wifi coverage at the 40-50 feet distance from my router location. My D-link router is not a bad router mind you. It's the one with Double Antenna which still didn't give me any wifi signal where I wanted it. Anyhow I purchased this TP-Link router ( 1600 Rs - Lightning deal )with not very high expectations since my D-Link router was now fixed in the 1st floor and there is no chance of me moving it to ground floor and also I never thought a range extender can be more powerful than a Router. I was right and wrong actually. I placed the Extender at the same location in the ground floor where I earlier had my Router and I was partly right, due to the number of walls and doors between where I wanted to get wifi and the extender, the wifi signal was still low ( sometimes 1 bar and sometimes not even that ) but what surprised me more was it was able to catch hold of my wifi signal from the router and transmit it to 40-50 feet away from the extender through all the walls and doors and my Mobile was able to connect to the internet without any issues now. I'm totally surprised and very happy with this product as it has surpassed my expectations. Really good one and give it a try people.
