Love the ease of sharpening my good knives! Easy and safe to use.

Does better than what we had before
Does a better job of sharpening than our previous system. I don’t think that it gets the knives maximally sharp, but it does a pretty good job. Our previous system was a set of various courseness “V” shaped rods that did an OK job and was easy to use. THis one is not a lot more complicated but does a better job of sharp edges, with more attention to the angle of the sharpening. Really a trade-off between hassle and result, IMO.

Impressive
After using the knife sharpener I tested it out on a frozen tube of meat, the knife cut right through it with very little effort. This is a great product!!!

Almost idiot proof sharpening
Follow the directions and you’ll get excellent results. Make sure to double check the original angle for your knife blade or you can damage the blade

Nicely made but inadequate for sharpening knives that are beyond just maintenance. Also not tall enough for taller French knives.
