Really light!! Can’t make any comment on its quality for bodhran playing as I’m a beginner. Has a lovely feel to it though...was pleasantly surprised.

This is a very nice tipper, one of my favourites. It is beautifully made and creates a lovely sound. However, it is 24 cm long, not 30 cm as claimed in the description (so 1 star off).

Arrived in good time, appropriately packaged. Just right for me, light and the right length with good balance. It's a personal thing, but I'd recommend this.

Tipper is ideal. to be honest mostly using the drum stick i got with my drum but wanted this for alternative sound. Learning Drum healing.

This tipper has a well placed ball 2/3 of the way up so it is easy to use whichever way you old it. Always nice to have a selection of tippers.

I tried three other styles from other companies and they were either too thick or too thin. This was spot on. It took me a couple of minutes to get the grip right. There is a large swell and a wide notch below it that makes it seem like both gripping fingers should go below. As soon as I shifted one finger to the center of the swell (see picture), it played like it was built for me. Rolls are perfect and completely controlled. Regular play never gets loose. I love it.

I bought this along with several other weight/size tippers. I wasn't sure what type of tipper was best, but the tipper my drum came with was small and lightweight. I found it nearly impossible to learn with it. When I got my tippers, this one quickly became my favorite. The "knob" on the stick showed me how to position my hand to hold the stick and the weighted ends helped me learn how the stick moves in order to learn triplets. It is still my favorite stick, but after learning with this one, I can now use my lightweight tippers with ease.
