IdeaFormer-3D PER Build Plate for ANYCUBIC Kobra 3 Combo 3D Printer

I mainly use my PEI textured plate....But every now n then when I'm printing a flate piece. The pattern of this bed transforms well into your piece.

While it is technically too big for my printer (Sovol SV06), it doesn't prevent the bed from moving. As such, I have been able to use this plate to add a pretty shimmer to my prints. It's weird that a surface with no obvious texture (to the touch, anyway) is so easy to print on.When installing, make sure to re-level your printer. I found it thicker than my stock plate.If you leave fingerprints, clean with isopropyl alcohol or dish soap (be sure to dry with a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth). I think some of the way it works so well is by remaining clean.Anyway, check the clearances around the bed on your printer and you might find you can use a plate that wasn't intended for your model. The plate itself is a work of art, I want to stick it to the wall. It's a metallic flexible plate for the specified printer but I'm sure it will fit any other with similar size proportions. NOTE: it will not fit most common 3D printers, those ones measure about 238mm, these plates measure 256 x 268, I tried it on my Ender 3 V2 and IT DID NOT FIT.

It arrived VERY well-packaged. Outside is a padded envelope. Then a stiff cardboard wrap. Then it's encased in a plastic cover (forgot to take a photo of that), then the plate itself is protected on both sides by another layer of plastic that you peel off before using (missed that photo as well).Needless to say, the plate arrived in perfect condition, but you may notice a bent edge in one or two of my photos. That's because I accidentally dropped it and it landed on that corner. My bad. But it still printed like a champ. You can see both patterns printed on my test rectangle. Really cool. It wasn't a perfect first layer, but that's also my fault, not the plate.I like it - always wanted to try one of these textured build plates, and now I've got two!

These are like many of the patterned plates that are now available for many 3d printers. It is nice to have what is really two plates in one, smooth and a wood grain design in one plate. Adhesion has been like the original plate that comes with the Kobra 3, as long as you do a good job of cleaning the plate with warm water and soap (Joy works well) and dry completely and don't get fingerprints on the plate. Like most of these if you have any issues with adhesion glue stick will help hold those prints that you may have issues with although I have not needed yet with this plate.
