Review: Excellent and Unique - This was the first organic black bean spaghetti that I had ever eaten. It was awesome! It tasted good with pasta sauce and was much healthier than traditional pasta. Instead of being full of carbs it was full of protein.
Review: Great low-carb substitute for spaghetti! - This pasta is really weird, but good! We avoid refined and processed foods as a general rule of thumb and splurge on brown rice pasta now and then. Honestly, I expected this pasta to be really gross. it's amazingly made of 100% black beans. And I thought maybe the nutrition facts were a misprint! So much protein and fiber, it has to be gross right? Wrong. It was surprisingly good. Don't order this thinking it's going to taste anything like regular spaghetti, you have to figure you're eating a totally different type of pasta. Actually, my daughter just corrected me, it tastes similar to wheat spaghetti but the texture is different. It's chewier. We had it with marinara sauce and turkey meatballs and everybody really liked it. This is a really good deal. At $4 a bag it's half the retail price and it makes a lot of pasta that is very, very filling. You really don't need to eat as much of it because it's so protein/fiber dense.

I baught this one and the edamame one. I find the black bean has a “better” taste. I’ve eaten this for a meal plan and it helps me get my macros in and feel full longer with the high fiber and protein content. The only thing it has a weird taste no matter what I do to cover it up. You get used to the taste but it’s great for a diet to avoid carbs!
