Great concept, badly executed.
Good points: Good hand fit for street photography. Surprisingly good results. Less vignetting than I expected. Adequately sharp. Sliding lens cover like the Olympus XA series. Less positive: The shutter is loud and bizarrely, sounds like someone shutting an old fashioned cash register. The shutter button demands so much pressure and has such a long travel that it risks camera shake. Loading the film is harder than any other camera I own. Lomography's own film has a leader so slippery that it's almost impossible to use in this camera. I used HP5 for its thin grippy leader. Long exposures - you have to keep the shutter button depressed to complete long exposures. Best to use the remote shutter release. The power light and low light warning lights are too bright. First, it makes you conspicuous in the street as the lights are as bright both sides of the viewfinder! Second, if you're working in low light you can be dazzled by the red lights in the viewfinder. Summary - I had high hopes for this camera. It's a great concept. I wanted it to be like a giant Olympus XA2 but it fails. I will be returning this camera.

This camera just makes you want to shoot even more film. the ease of use is awesome. In just 2 uses it has become one of my favorite cameras i own. Build quality is a little questionable but. it makes up for it in sheer portability and weight. Crazy that thing is a 6x6 camera. that you can toss in any bag.

I tested the Kodak Gold 200 last weekend. It gave me a big surprise. The imaging is rich in color and vivid, with high central resolution and slightly reduced image quality in the dark corners. The shooting control is very simple, making it suitable for experienced film photographers who create street photography or stylized images.

This is the most awesome camera for street photography. The clarity is stunning! I love my camera.

Very poor quality: film winder jammed on the second roll. Slow and awkward to use: I don’t understand why some people say this is a good camera for street photography. I returned mine.
