Very Good Pool Cover
I wish I would have purchased this cover years ago! I purchased this cover at the end of March 2026, just before the pool season started. Th weather was warm enough by June to start using it. I purchased the 20' by 40' size since our pool is somewhat kidney shaped with dimensions of 17' by 38'. By mid-June the pool was heated up to 91 degrees one day! Currently it is anywhere from 85 to 89 degrees and we haven't even started the hot months (July, August). A couple times we left the cover off during the night just to cool the pool down. It definitely is a two person job to cover and uncover the pool. We never did cut it to fit, we just cover it and is and use rocks and pool chairs to help it stay in place (wind). My wife and I think it was well worth the money for us. Really holds the heat in overnight and warms the pool up efficiently during sunlight.

Good quality and kept pool much warmer all season!
It’s heavy duty, delivery was as promised, it warmed up our pool A LOT and it stayed on even when it’s been extremely windy! We woukd put it on as dusk and take off next day when ready to go in or clean the pool and it consistently made our pool at least 10 degrees warmer :-)) The only negative is we wish this was sold with a storage bag of sorts OR given the option to at least buy one with this solar cover purchase as it’s difficult to store it now for the winter, making sure to keep it protected and covered.

Have a cover that is flexible to fit on a pool reel and roll the cover when not in use. No flexible!
The solar cover is very hard to roll up on the reel, the cover has no give in it, I will never buy again. I can not roll the cover up on the reel I would have returned it but I cut cover because my pool was smaller the 40 ft wide. I going to order another cover, this is junk. If I can not roll it up and take it of the pool I have a problem.

The black canvas covers a bump out of the pool. We will cut the excess solar cover to cover it.
After a couple of days the pool warmed up to 85 degrees with the pool heater on and the solar cover deployed. The temperature has stabilized without the pool heater at about 83 degrees. The outside temperature daytime 70’s while the night time goes down to the 50’s. It is January on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The pool was too cold to use before thr pool cover. It is now comfortable for swimming and exercising. This cover has clearly extended the range of outside temperatures at which we can use the pool. It feels like it is made out of strong material and hopefully last a good while. We purchased a reel to roll it up on. It works well and is easy to use. I give it a strong BUY recommendation.
