The most basic necessities are all covered, and it works right out the package.
Our ancient Sony TV, the one that used to be top of the line and has obnoxiously loud surround sound.. the original remote finally broke and a universal remote was not going to pair. Ordered this and it arrived next day. Took it out of the package, popped in 2 AAA batteries, and she was good to go. It's so much less bulky and very user firendly IF you're just looking for a super basic remote. Like on/off, volume, input, source, etc.. if you want to just open up the package and have this work for your Sony TV (any model, apparently. Something about codes being sent.) then this is the remote for you.

I wish I had bought it long time ago
Works great, I was skeptical about it since my TV is an old plasma bravia. Didn't know if it was going to work with it. No manual, just a plastic bag as packaging 🤨🤔 but I put batteries on it and worked great and smooth. I was tired of the old remote, pressing the buttons so hard I thought my finger would go though or break in half 😂 this one was also too play and pause the fire stick i have on this TV and was compatible to move everything. Not sure if i want to use the fire stick remote or this new one now 🤔
