I kinda dreaded putting this together– I'm not sure why. It looks like a LOT when you open the box. Everything was packaged anr labeled REALLY well, though. The instructions are fairly thorough, though the drawings are difficult to get much detail from. Honestly, it was quite easy to assemble. Just a couple different size bolts, and no nuts– everything lines up perfectly and screws into threaded holes. Very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the build, especially at a fraction of the price the bed companies charge. The motors are quiet and operate properly. So long as they last, this bed is an excellent value.

I am writing this review as I comfortably lay cradled in my adjustable bed! It is so relaxing to sit up without a bunch of pillows. I never knew how much raising your knees helped with comfort too! I love it! It can seem a little daunting when you take it out of the box. Just take your time identifying the parts, follow the instructions (pictures help) and build your frame. I would say it will be easier with 2 people. One thing to note that is not in the instructions. Prior to putting the mattress on we tested the hydraulics. It went up just fine. Nice and quiet too. The problem was getting it to come back down. We spent too much time trying to figure out what we did wrong when it occurred to me. The weight of the mattress helps bring it back to flat!! We put the mattress on and Voila! Works like a charm!! Hopefully I can help save a little time and frustration for others! The remote is awesome too. Even has a light button so you can see what your doing! If you're looking to upgrade (and it truly is!) Take the leap! You'll be glad you did!

My first surprrise was that this all fit in a box that was as long as the width of the king size bed this supports, and not very tall or wide, so apart from the weight (> 130 lbs) it was easy to maneuver through the house to where we were setting it up. The packaging is pretty amazing; all the parts were well-packed and well-protected in this relatively compact package. The instructions were straightforward and it took a little over an hour to put it together with the tools provided. As heavy as the overall package is, each of the pieces was easy to handle; no individual piece was too heavy. All of the complex pieces (motors and moving parts) come already assembled, and you really just have to put the pieces together. It's no more complex than assembling a piece of flat-pack furniture from that big Swedish store. Once everything was assembled, there was nothing to do but put the batteries in the remote and start using the bed. No pairing the remote with the controller was needed. We set this up inside of an iron bed frame; we removed the horizontal slats at the bottom of the frame that had supported the boxsprings we no longer needed, and this adjustable bed platform fits nicely inside the frame, so we have a nice iron headboard and footboard. We did not connect the adjustable platform to the bed frame, and everything works and looks great. I had a (non-technical) question for the seller and submitted it throgh Amazon. The seller responded in less than a day with a very helpful answer, and I appreciated that there was someone who was willing and ready to help out. I got this for my father-in-law (he really likes it!), and now my wife wants one for our bed too!

This bed frame is not exactly what is advertised....go figure. The pictures look like it is one piece with a nice padded edge. Not what you get. I got over it having "slats" instead of one nice piece, but can't get over the flimsy foam pieces that I am supposed to "glue" somewhere to be the "padded" part. I guess I was expecting it to be more like the one I bought from a furniture store. Anyway, putting it together was a chore, but not impossible. One person can do it, but it does take time. It performs nicely (so far) and was a pretty good price. Overall I am satisfied with the product but wish the advertising would be more on point.

After a considerable amount of shopping we finally decided on the right mattress to buy. We decided that we liked the idea of an adjustable base after seeing them in all of the stores, but we were put off by the price. We looked on Amazon and found this adjustable base. We were a little hesitant but decided to go ahead and buy it. Wow, it came in a box that was over six feet long and very heavy. We started assembly in the afternoon, and it was done in time to put the mattress on it and sleep that night. The instructions were easy to follow - after figuring out that there were two sets of screws that had to be undone in order separate some of the parts. Hint, do not use a power tool to assemble. The hex head screw heads can strip with too much force. I did appreciate the fact that they provided a few extra screws - at least I hope they were extra screws. The base works just like the ones in the mattress stores. It is quiet, and it just feels right. Another tip, be sure to look for the option to purchase the adjustable legs and extra padding for the edges. It was only about $10 more, and so worth it.

Almost a year later still works like brand new quit not to difficult to put together and best part way cheaper than buying from any furniture store

What great value! Yes, it was 90 min to assemble and a drill with the right bit is very helpful. Instructions are incomplete, just unscrew everything off the panel and you will find piece A and Piece B. And separate your screws in baggies. This is a strong frame, and the motor very quiet. I have a hybrid queen on it, which is heavy, and it's fast and quiet. Remote has a flashlight on it, plus zero gravity. Remote is white, a bonus. It's so hard to find black items at night. I'm buying a 2nd one for another bedroom. Why not? Everybody deserves a comfortable night of sleep.

I’m extremely dissatisfied with this product and the refund process. I paid over $400 for this frame, which turned out to be completely unsuitable and uncomfortable. Despite numerous attempts to return it, I was quoted shipping costs higher than what I initially paid. On top of that, I was told it must be returned in its original packaging which I no longer have the box as I intended to keep this item and discarded it— nonetheless this isn’t something that is ever mentioned to the consumer. I initially believed in the product’s quality, but it didn’t perform as advertised. The slats on the frame are excessively elastic and provide inadequate support, which led both my partner and me to experience significant sinking towards the center. This created an uneven and unsupportive sleeping surface, making it impossible to get a comfortable night’s sleep. We even suspected that the product might be defective due to how poorly it performed. Since switching back to my old frame and box springs, the comfort level of our bed has completely improved—no more sinking or discomfort. It’s clear that the issue was entirely with this frame. I feel misled by the product description and the unclear return policy. I’ve requested help with the return and a full refund, but the company has only offered a $100 refund and to keep the product, which is unacceptable for a product of this price and quality. I cannot recommend this product, and I advise potential buyers to consider other options, especially if you’re looking for reliable support, have chronic pain, and a straightforward return process.
