Review: Great product, easy to fit. Replaced and old broken one. Very happy - Arrived yesterday, fitted today, really does the job, offers some resistance when opening into the wind, the 90 degree stop works really well. It was a direct replacement for what looks like an inferior stay. Simple and directly replaced the rubbish one that had broken as made with too much plastic. Did not have to drill any new holes. Excellent. Review: Seems good value and functional - Very easy to fit following the instructions in the listing description pictures. Seems up to the job - time will tell if it holds open when its windy. These things don't last forever - so keep it lubed to help it operate and avoid corrosion. ## Features - Universal and easy fitting to all upvc doors with a eurogroove - Restricts door to 90 degrees with a hold open feature stopping the door from closing - Includes fixings - Easily adjustable friction control - Premium quality ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D7W3L4F5 | | Best Sellers Rank | 20,366 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 134 in Door Stops | | Brand | SHIELD HARDWARE | | Colour | Silver | | Country of Origin | United Kingdom | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 241 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Aluminium | | Exterior finish | Aluminium | | Installation Type | Screw-In | | Installation type | Screw-In | | Item Type Name | Door Restrictor | | Manufacturer | GB DIY Store | | Material | Aluminium , Stainless Steel | | Model Number | SH-DRHO | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | restricting door movement to prevent damage, holding doors open for ventilation or easy access | | Recommended uses for product | restricting door movement to prevent damage, holding doors open for ventilation or easy access | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SHIELD HARDWARE - **Colour:** Silver - **Exterior finish:** Aluminium - **Installation type:** Screw-In - **Material:** Aluminium, Stainless Steel ## Images ![uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51g23+y+KpL.jpg) ![uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51VbGFMVUNL.jpg) ![uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BbnDnQGpL.jpg) ![uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RboEXVymL.jpg) ![uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51OqMhAyp6L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, easy to fit. Great quality. Fits nicely, and easily adjusted with the screw on top. Can be a bit noisy if not oiled fairly regularly but I run it fairly tight to stop the door in the wind. Overall great value and does exactly what it needs to. ## Frequently Bought Together - uPVC Door Restrictor Stay with Hold Open Function - 90 Degrees - for uPVC, Aluminium, French & Patio Doors - UPVC Door Run Up Block Riser, Clip in Fit - Set of 2 Replacement Plastic Door Closing Guides --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/639581551-upvc-door-restrictor-stay-with-hold-open-function-90-degrees](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/639581551-upvc-door-restrictor-stay-with-hold-open-function-90-degrees) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
