Buy one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ remarkable audio un a small package *by P***L on 16 December 2013* I'm a professional recordist. I'm also interested in the newest technologies and was thrilled to be able to combine my iphone and a quality mic. I had a few issues with the mic for a short while. I kept getting random static bursts until I turned on "Airplane mode". Apparently the phone was searching for cell towers -DUH! Luckily I was able to work around this issue but it's better to not to have to deal with it. I also had to change my iphone case, I'd been using the Lifeproof case which I highly recommend. It was, however, too bulky for the mic to work properly. Once I found the right phone case it's been blue skies. I haven't had any hand holding issues, I've used the boom and had great results. Is it as good as a large, expensive shotgun, not really, it's audio is a little thin. But I am happy using it for doing quick news bites and meetings in hard recording settings, for example, the local high school basketball court was not a problem. I can also record and take pictures at the same time : )I also want to offer praise to the company for all their support and feedback. I'm very impressed with their desire to create a quality product and stand by it.One last thing, it comes in a wonderful kit, everything you need, if you're a design freak, you'll love it. Why not five stars?
