Works well. Switches between my two laptops in a couple seconds, one cable per laptop handles video, charging, and internet. Cleaned up my desk a lot. But honestly best part was the support. I have a Samsung S20, which uses DEX. I switch between my laptop and phone all the time. The biggest reason is that Google Photos on my mobile does better editing than on the desktop.

Works great with Linux and Windows

This is a great product. First of all, the KVM switch is built in eliminating the need for another box an more wires. That simple improvement justified the price and made it a great value. Display technology has changed greatly and my old Dell 3100 would not work with my new i9 displayport computer. This docking station works extremely well, was easy to install and has performed flawlessly under the first few days of extremely heavy use. (I had high school age grand children developing code competitively.) The instructions are clear and installing was easy. I expecially appreciated how AV designated the two from USBA ports for keyboard and mouse radios. On the back, it was clear where to connect everything. I am using this dock with dual computers and dual monitors. Both featured displayport support (one computer had only displayport), both are running Windows 11 -- one pro, one home. Count on this device to solve your problems.

I compared several KVM switches before finally choosing this one. It lets me switch my peripherals and monitors between two computers with a single click. The dual-monitor setup works perfectly, and it has plenty of ports, making it super convenient to plug in devices and connect directly via Ethernet. The power supply is sufficient, and the price-to-performance ratio is spot on. I really love it.
