Review: Great for ceramic repair - Great for ceramic repair. I have a vintage dish that had a chip about the size of half of a nickel. I colored the putty to match the dish and it worked perfectly. Unless someone is looking closely they don’t know that there was a chip. It even held up in the dishwasher. I usually wash those by hand, but my husband had put it in the dishwasher by mistake and it turned out just fine.
