This rectifier was used on a drum sander that was made using the motor and roller from a treadmill. So far I have gotten very good results using this to recify current from an SCR voltage controller to power the DC motor.

A beast of a rectifier. I thought I fried mine a couple of times but survived. Getting terminals lead connected is difficult. Soldering requires a torch and heat sink. Daze Cars utube channel has good technique.

Works perfectly to power my Lathe DC motor.

Haven't tested it yet, but it's absurd that the polarity stamped on the terminals is the OPPOSITE of what's printed on the silkscreen. ALSO, one would think that the connectors were a standard quarter-inch (6.35mm) but female spade/ quick disconnects of this size don't fit. The diagrams show that the connector tabs are 8mm across. That is a nonstandard size. 7.8 mm (5/16) inch is close, but trying to find these that would fit 10 gauge wire (this is supposed to accommodate 100A, remember?) is difficult.

Used this to convert my Harbor Freight 90 amp ac welder to a dc output. Backed it with 94,000 mfd total capacitors and large steel inductor. The rectifier works great, I mounted it on the outside and it stays pretty cool, even with considerable welding. Arrived at my home in 4 days, excellent shipping. Absolutely love the quality of my welds, penetration, and mostly absent spatter. Great item, very pleased. Jay

this makes the second one for me to ordar for my Lincoln ranger welder. works great and simple to put in. Finally found the problem and glad it was there to save my machine!!
