**Q: Very old meter door replaced and found loct to good**
A: Easy to fit

**Q: How do you fit this**
A: Remove old latch and replace with new securing with spring clips provided, as shown in photos, latch is easy to install and works well

**Q: The spring washer doesn't stay on the triangle post whichever way i put it.  It goes down to the bottom of the post but the tabs don't catch.**
A: There should be two washers a wavy washer which goes to the bottom of the triangular stem, and a lock or star washer , which goes on to complete the assembly, on the outside of the meterbox door. This grips the shaft and when pushed down locks the latch in place
You have both washers?

**Q: Is this easy to fit**
A: Very easy...good fitting to replace the tatty plastic latch in my Gas & Electric external boxes
