I wanted PIR detection so that lights would not be going on and off due to wind caused tree/shrub movement. After a lot of effort for over a year and sensor settings at lowest levels and pointed in all directions, I could not get them to stop going on and off all night due to tree movement caused by wind. Any wind above a gentle breeze would turn on the lights. Also after being up for over a year two of the units had water inside the lens cover. They my ok for inside use or use outside in protected areas with no chance of wind driven tree/shrub movement. ### ⭐ Light failed within 4 hours *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2020* Installed the two lights that came as a package. The installation was simple and fairly straight forward. Set up both lights adjusted and tested working fine at that time after testing I re-adjusted the Lux setting to work only at night. Later in the evening after dark went out side to observe how they were functioning and to insure the spot lights were illuminating the areas I wanted lit up. Only one of the lights function as designed the second light failed to turn on with motion. The next day checked the failed light and was not able to get it to work. They were up less than 24 hours. They have been returned to Amazon and I will not by again due to my experience. Should have played closer attention to the other reviews.Purchased two more lights from another manufacture they were about twice the cost installed today they seem to be working as designed.
