Ruffwear, Front Range Dog Leash, 5 ft Lead, Basalt Gray

My dogs measurements: Breed: American Stafforshire Terrier Girth : 27 1/2 in Back: 20 1/2 in Neck: 17 3/4 in Forearm: 17 in Hind legs: 18 in Weight: 50-55lbs My dog is very dog aggressive and she shakes so hard that she undos her leash clips! This leash she cannot do because you have to manually lock it. I also like that the clip is shaped differently than a carabiner and on the smaller side. Leash is very lightweight and can hold my dog when she reacts and pulls 60+ lbs of dead weight!!! I also use the Kong Saftey Harness for her in a size medium and have all of the straps at the loosest point and it’s still tight and fits her snug.

Very nice quality and high visibility. Has two loops to grab onto. Has a locking clasp so it cant come off the loop. Stylish, reflective, and lightweight.

Ruffwear is known for top notch, sturdy tools for your best friend. This leash is lightweight and just the right length and gives me great control over my standard sized goldendoodle. The handle is comfortable for long walks. An overall great product that will last a long time.

Love how lightweight the leash is, but our dog chewed through the traffic handle in less than 5 minutes The clasp is strong and escape proof. The handle is padded and very comfortable to hold

Things I like: loop near the handle, where I hang an S-hook so I can clip stuff on, or use it to tie the dog to a post while I use the bathroom in the park. The lower loop is great for maximum control of my large dog. Padded hand-hold is comfortable, even for a large pulling puppy in training. Length is perfect for me at 5 feet. 6 feet is a little too long and 4 feet can be a little short. Works well for both my dogs (100 pounds and 40 pounds). I've had one before I bought this one--we left it at a dog park but I'd used it daily for years and it was still solid. Clip is a *little* small for attaching to my Herm-Sprenger collar, but not bad. Occassionally wants to stick open--mine spend time on the beach and get sand in them--so I rinse it and once in a while squirt some WD-40 in there. Highly recommended.

very good quality leash!!! it so sturdy and can see it lasting me and my pup a very long time. the color is absolutely beautiful! it’s very helpful that the leash has a smaller holding area towards the bottom of the leash.

If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands to research and look through countless reviews in the hopes of finding the perfect collar, leash and harness for your precious dog ( who of course deserves the best), look no further than RUFF WEAR.. The leash is lightweight and extremely sturdy. My dog has chewed his way through other leashes..but not his RUFFWEAR leash. The collar is also made very well and it is the only collar that does not bother him. NOW for the Harness. I have bought numerous harnesses in the past that my dog hides when he sees them. They have been too heavy, or pinch him under his front legs. The RUFFWEAR harness is constructed just right. All clips on all products are crafted for security. . All are good looking, comfortable, easy to adjust and well priced. The control I have while walking my dog with RUFFWEAR products ( especially when he sees another dog) can not be beat. I sound like a RUFFWEAR salesperson, but I am not. I just love dogs.

Very hard to clip on and then get off. Longer than regular leashes. Does the job, but nothing special.

Resistente y a la vez muy ligera, no pesa nada. Tiene para sujetar al perro de cerca, está muy bien para momentos concretos. El cierre está pensado para que no se pueda abrir por accidente. Podría tener ya para ser perfecta algo de reflectante

This is my favourite lead for my dog, which is a ~20 kg border collie mix. The clasp is really easy to use as you don't have to push down on a knob to clasp it on, but just press it against the ring of the collar or harness. The lead itself has a nice padded handle, and it has a useful "built in" handle near the collar/harness which is good in traffic. Downside is that the leash cannot really be made much longer or shorter. I mainly use ruffwear harnesses, which are also excellent by the way. Only downside is that the dog tag is perhaps a little too well hidden in the pocket.
