Old El Trasho!
Based on the photo, I expected a whole beans in a light broth combined with chunks of onion and tomato. What I got was a mash of chili based beans in a tomato paste. I couldn't use it for it's intended use and ultimately threw the entire pouch out after a taste. Now I know, it's better to just Instapot beans when you are making a Mexican meal.

if this is tex mex style hate to try regular
Not sure where the tex mex style comes into play with these pinto beans. They tasted the same as any pinto beans normally in cans. Maybe I was reading something into the description but thought these would be ready to eat with seasonings and stuff already in them but if they are there I sure couldn't taste them. Also harder to get them out of a pouch than a can.

Better "pouch meals" are available elsewhere
There are "pouch meal" competitors that are a bit more expensive than Old El Paso, but produce a MUCH better product. I will stick with their products in the future.
