Very Attractive Price for SOHO/SMB and Quality Build.
Bought the rack enclosure to properly organize my home network. I have always wanted to have a proper rack for the home network and this hits the spot between quality and a solid price for a home network setup although to my surprise this is also a very effective rack for a SOHO or Small/Medium Business. I mean it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an APC rack but, again, for a SOHO or SMB this would easily work if your budget is of concern. I give it 5 stars because it is excellent quality, easy to build and mount equipment, has casters for mobility but can also be easily mounted as well, measurements are spot on and a very attractive enclosure that looks great. It is not thick or deep like some larger rack enclosures so will easily fit within its measurements.

THIS RACK KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT - Because I LOVE IT!!!
FANTASTIC SERVER RACK! This has worked really well for a network rack and 2 smallish desktop computers racked. The case looks awesome sitting in my studio next to my desk. It was relatively easy to assemble, 2 people would have made it easier but I did pretty much the entire build solo. This is for my home studio, and home lab. The main reason I went with an enclosed rack was to “baby proof” my home studio and office. Instead of buying a million small things to keep my son safe while in my office. I ended up choosing a sysracks rack, because I had heard nothing but excellent feedback from friends and colleagues about their experience with sysracks support team. They have not disappointed! Super knowledgeable, very willing to help with whatever they can, and you can tell they take pride in their product(which is really amazing to see). I would give this Experience 10+ stars. I’m going to have to be upgrading this rack to a 32u with a longer depth, and I’m definitely looking at buying this same enclosure from sysracks in the larger size. Things that I’ve learned from this build. **** make sure and talk through your build with support before purchase. I learned the hard way and didn’t, but I recently called and they were very informative and I feel I could have saved a bunch of small headaches if I would have done that first. 1. With this depth rack. Enterprise servers just won’t fit… but it works EXCELLENT for Desktop computers that need to be racked. 2. The depth was kind of hard to work around, but that ended up helping in the long run because it makes you dig deep and plan your cable management. 3. The rack came with a good manual and links to install videos. But the home lab community had plenty of good videos on YouTube(check out techno Tim’s review) 4. I ordered the rack and it told me it was going to take a month for delivery, but sysracks is so good they had it to me in 3 days. 5. They do a very good job of packaging, so it wasn’t to crazy of a chore to get this up a flight of stairs with help. I recommend doing the build of the rack the same place you are going to store it. At the end of the day this was a GREAT experience! I just wish I would have gotten a deeper rack.

Nice ...rack.
Nice well built 27u rack. Easy to assemble. Comes with a rackmount powerstrip, a couple of shelves and an exhaust fan on top. My fan started making crazy noises then just stopped working after a month. Easy to replace, but hence the -1 star (would do -0.5 but not an option). The shelves also screw into each of the four posts, so make sure its where you want it to be, because moving it can be a pain once the rack starts filling up.

Sturdy Enough, but Engineering is a Bit of a Head-Scratcher
I’m giving this rack 3 stars – maybe generously. It does hold all my equipment, has top and bottom brush cable pass-throughs, and includes a fan up top (haven’t wired it yet, but word is it's not exactly whisper-quiet – fine by me since it's going in my attic server room). Now for the not-so-fun part: 🧩 Build quality is questionable. The front door is laughably flimsy, basically hanging on two thin steel rods. It flexes like a pool noodle and there's no way to level it cleanly. 🔒 Side panels aren't secure. Even locked, they can be pulled out with a tug. Not exactly Fort Knox. 🔧 Rear panel is a rattle trap. It has 6 holes for screws but only 4 actual mounting threads. No middle supports at all, which means it buzzes and shakes like a tin roof in a windstorm. 📦 Packaging mystery. Some parts arrived bent even though they were well-packed, which tells me the damage likely happened before it was boxed. Nothing I couldn’t fix with a pair of pliers, but not a great first impression. It looks clean and modern, and for a stationary rack in a non-critical environment, it will do the job. Just don’t expect precision engineering or silence. 🎥 I attached a video so you can hear how it sounds for yourself. Hope it helps.

Assembly take time, patience and more than 2 hands
I bought this enclosure to organize my home network, Home Automation device controllers and security camera hubs. I give it 5 stars because it is excellent quality and a very attractive enclosure that looks great in my office. The enclosure itself was fairly easy to assemble. The vertical rails are easy to attach if you lay the enclosure on its side. The door requires more than 2 hands to attach to the enclosure. The Sysracks shipping department spared no expense and spared no effort to ensure the product arrives and your location in excellent condition. It took more than an hour to unpack and move all the shipping material out of the assembly area. Nothing was scratched or dented. All that being said, the difficulty comes from the figuring out how to make your devices (rack mount switch and rack mount UPS specifically in my case) fit in the enclosure. I am very happy w my 27U Sysracks enclosure. I would buy it again.

Absolutely perfect for homelabs!
As someone that works in a manufacturing/engineering division I have worked with my fair share of racks. I have to admit I was hesitant to buy one knowing how big and heavy they are and not wanting to be "stuck" with one in the house. Enter this bad boy! I know some people may complain about the "cheaper" feel to it but I have to say that's what drew me to it! It isn't some multi hundred pound eyesore like a standard rack would be. I can easily maneuver it around my basement without breaking a sweat. It feels absolutely perfect for storing all my networking equipment and I have 0 worry about anything failing. The biggest thing for me? Clearly the manufacturer learned about shipping issues because even though fedex (which is HORRIBLE by me) leaned it against my garage so when I opened it to leave that afternoon it started falling (!!!) the packaging was top notch with plenty of padding and foam that everything arrived in tip top shape! If you want a well designed rack for home use that isn't an eyesore, look no further!

Top quality rack with terrific accessories and easy assembly instructions
Assembling this high-quality SysRacks rack was a pleasant surprise compared to other racks I’ve purchased on Amazon. First was the quality of the included components and packaging. It was unbelievably well packed, with padding on the outside, double cardboard case, and copious amounts of foam inside. Nothing was going to break in the shipment. That’s first class service that few Amazon sellers provide. Then once I opened up everything I found a comprehensive detailed assembly manual in English, not the single sheet sign language version I’ve seen in the past. This manual contained detailed close-ups of assemblies, and specific instructions on installing every component. Then there was the hardware packaging, the best I’ve ever seen (see pic). Instead of dumping everything in a plastic bag, SysRacks segregates each hardware type in its own little bin in a sturdy plastic box. The instructions then call out that specific bin number when you need to get the bits for assembly. No parts get lost, and this box doubles as a sorting tray to avoid losing pieces during the assembly. There was also plenty of extra hardware, something you never see these days. Other vendors seemingly hate to spend extra money on even a single screw. I verified all the promised accessories were shipped with this rack: a quality, 8-port surge-suppressed 15A PDU, a 120V fan, full sized shelf, and leveling feet. And then I found a bonus: an amazingly well crafted cage nut compression tool for easing painful cage nut installation (see pic). This is far more sophisticated than the average little piece of spring metal typically supplied. Again, SysRacks is first class all the way. The instructions are crystal clear, but they also supply a YouTube video if you can’t follow those. I didn’t need the video. It took about an hour to put together, and nothing was difficult in the least. The panels are heavy gauge steel, with a durable powder coated black finish. All the holes and frame parts aligned perfectly, with great precision. This is in contrast to other racks of assembled were you actually have to use screws to pry things in the position. It helps to have a rubber mallet to tap things into place before screwing down. Also, in contrast to other racks I’ve received from Amazon, thanks to the excellent packaging there were no bent parts. One final comment: the lock on this locking cabinet is truly a first rate industrial design. It’s the equal of anything I’ve seen on a commercial rack from APC or Dell. It’s also tamper proof, and beefy enough to not fall apart after just a few uses. The side panels also came with their own locks, but these are the cheaper kind that you get with other cabinets. However, you won’t use these as often so the quality isn’t as critical. You get what you pay for, and SysRacks delivers high-quality for the price.

Great Unit
Easy to assemble and looks great. Very happy with this unit. It came with a few dings on the top panel but that was the shipping company not the seller.

The perfect rack for a small network
As a growing home lab enthusiast, I found myself running out of space and a lack of organization on my desk. A full-size floor rack was out of the question, so I decided to go with a wall-mount solution. After some research, I settled on this 9U wall mount network rack, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It has completely transformed my complete mess in the utility room, by tidying up my equipment and organizing everything in a nice rack. The build quality of this rack is exceptional. It's made of a heavy-gauge steel that feels incredibly solid and secure. The powder-coated finish is flawless and gives it a clean, professional look. I was initially a bit concerned about mounting something this heavy to the wall, especially with the weight of a switch, router, patch panel, and other gear, but the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly with standard 16-inch wall studs. The included hardware was robust, and after a few hours of careful installation, the rack felt completely immovable. It's clear this product was designed with both stability and ease of installation in mind. What truly makes this rack a winner is its thoughtful design. The removable side panels are a huge plus for easy access to all my components. I can easily get behind the equipment to manage cables, and it's simple to swap out gear as my needs evolve. The 9U capacity provides ample room for my current setup with plenty of space to grow. It has helped me to get my cables neatly routed and tied down, which has made a massive difference in troubleshooting and general tidiness. If you're looking to get your networking and server gear off the desk and create a clean, organized, and secure space, this 9U wall mount rack is an excellent investment.

Assembly issues and bit flimsy
For the price expected more rigid product, bit flimsy even with all side on! Also issues assembling, difficult with shelving assembly.

Amazing product.
It looks great. Easy to install, high quality. I used it before and I know it last forever. I used only one shelve and I hide all surplus cable inside. There is a fan on top for heat rejection. I would like to have it in side or back panels. I always put a monitor in top and i have always to mention to my customers to not move monitor in top of the fan. I know a shelve can hold few computers. I used three and there is more space for others.
