Fixed our backyard LED floodlights.
Somehow water got into our backyard floodlights and shorted out the small power supply. I replaced it with this one and everything works great, even the dimming.

Poor solder joint- had to fix it myself. (updated)
I have had this power supply less than 2 months. When I first installed it, the light flickered a bit but then stayed on. The other day I was working at the ceiling and moved the wires. The light flickered and never came back on. I trouble-shot the power supply and found one of the wires supplying power had a poor solder joint and had to resolder it. I was also surprised to find that the circuit board is not mounted inside the plastic box- it just floats in there. I would not recommend purchasing this based on my experience. Update... seller very promptly refunded my money on the purchase and was apologetic. Would purchase from this seller again.

item received works well when installed. it will be important to see how long this transformer lasts compared to the original item that came with the lights. Shipping ETA was grossly exaggerated as item took approx 4 weeks longer than originally stated during purchase. If you need this item in a hurry you may want to source locally.

If You Know What This Is, You Should Be Able To Make It Work
Did take a bit to arrive. Not really a problem. Price was right. Did a tiny bit of solder work to reuse connection from the lighting fixture that failed. My install was non-standard, so the rules don't apply there. As for longevity, who can say. The one in the fixture "dimmable" lasted maybe ten days. Plain switch on this one. And still going strong after a month.
