Its excellent performance in this environment is due to the ability to tolerate toxic substances such as furfural, normally present in agave juice. It has also increased tolerance to osmotic pressure and alcohol and can work in conditions of extreme temperatures. Recommended minimum dosage rate 0.5 g/L. Recommended fermentation temperature: 32°C (89.6°F) 10 gram pack. Sufficient for 5 gallons of wash. Review: Will not start fermenting UPDATED - Trying to ferment some blue aquave. Kept PH adjusted to optimum and temperature at advised 90 degrees. Got some bubbles and nothing. 1 week in and nothing. Grrrrrr Update. The company reached out to me and sent another order. This batch is good. Review: Ferments as intended - This yeast does exactly what it claims to do. I put it to the test against four other dry yeasts in a side-by-side experiment and this one fermented an agave wine the second fastest, after RedStar DADY, without a whole lot of undesirable products. It is quite expensive, comparatively speaking, and takes a bit longer than another industrial standard yeast. This was my third time running this fermentation and this yeast has finished every time (DAP and Nutri-start added). Hope this helps ## Features - Yeast for the production of tequila- 10 gram pack ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CYQZGJLC | | Brand | Grape and Granary | | Brand Name | Grape and Granary | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 7 Reviews | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Leavening Agent Type | Active Dry Yeast | | Specialty | Vegan | | UPC | 651208968663 | | Unit Count | 1 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Grape and Granary - **Item Package Quantity:** 1 - **Leavening Agent Type:** Active Dry Yeast - **Specialty:** Vegan - **Unit Count:** 1 Ounce ## Images ![Grape and Granary Tequila Yeast 10 graom Pack- Pack of (5) (5) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/01RmK+J4pJL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will not start fermenting UPDATED *by R***R on July 10, 2024* Trying to ferment some blue aquave.
