Cleaned the plate of the iron wonderfully.

I felt this product was very wasteful as it was thin soaked into the rag and gave no friction to the bottom of the iron to scrub off the starch that was on the soul plate. I am always looking for better ways to clean my iron, but so far Faultless cream in tubes has worked the best for me. I will also us some plain table salt on a towel. Does a good job of getting anything off the bottom of your iron. Need us to say this is my stainless steel. I have not tried it on my ceramic iron as that seems to wipe off much easier. I would be curious to know if there is anything better that others are using?

Did an excellent job cleaning the black off off the iron. Have a rag underneath the iron to protect the ironing board cover from the goo that comes off of the iron.

I guess I was expecting a miracle. That did not happen. Some of the "black" came off, but not all of it. The use of the product did not result in easy removal.
