I picked this up because my yard was getting out of control and my old tools were useless. Small trees and thick weeds were winning and that was not a good look. I just wanted something that could cut without me fighting it. Nothing fancy just something that works. It is heavy and feels solid in the hand which I liked right away. It cuts through branches and brush way easier than I expected. I used it for yard cleanup and a little camping prep and it handled both fine. Swinging it around made me feel a bit like I knew what I was doing. There are a couple small downsides though. The weight can wear your arm out after a while. The handle grip could be better when your hands get sweaty. Also it came pretty sharp but I still touched it up a bit. Overall it does the job and feels tough enough to last. I would not use it for super detailed work but for clearing stuff it is solid. No complaints from a normal guy just trying to tame his yard. It gets the job done without drama.

The quality of this machete is not too bad and it’s able to cut branch and bushes. Great for backyard work. The blade quality is pretty sharp once you sharpen them. It’s not too heavy for the price which is fair.

It’s good quality and sharp. Works as expected

I was very skeptical about buying this machete for the simple reason—- others that I had bought had a slight ringing sound to them and felt and sounded they were made with aluminum instead of metal. But this one? It actually felt like the WW2 machete which was made for making patches in jungles. Blade is solid steal. Balanced very good and has a solid thug (with no ringing sound) when it cuts limbs. Though I did have to get used to the handle. And even though it was sharp O did put a better edge on the blade. It has the weight behind it when you cut limbs. I actually love the thing. And to be honest, we had a WW2 surplus store in our town and machetes were the one thing they sold the most of. I haven’t seen one that solid in 65 years. UNTIL I bought this one. Keep the machetes coming. Just don’t change anything about them.

Solid long Machete. Appears very sharp to the extend that I am scared to use it. Just joking, machetes should be like this solid, sufficiently heavy and sharp. Have a nice handle which provides the good grip when you use it on heavy branches and bushes. Put same oil after use and keep clean, this should last for ever.

Very head/end heavy and not that sharp out of the package. Handle is ok, but with the weight you’ll get tired of swinging…wish I would done traditional machete. Will work for clearing brush.
