In theory the slide on clip seems like a great idea, but I found it was not secure. Even on the Evoc hip pack it is meant to be on. After I broke the first clip (slammed in car door), and the second one kept falling off, I replaced it with some other brand that fixes to a strap more securely and works much better.

Not worth a dollar never mind 18. Broke it trying to unclip it from the packaging. For such a high quality brand can’t believe evoc puts their name on this. Complete junk

Do not buy, because it’s too fragile.
Absolutely not recommended, too fragile to do the job properly. As soon as we put it on it will break the support bracket cause the plastic is not flexible enough to hold on the harness of any backpack. All the reviews that are positive, they will break at any point while trekking accidentally miss handling it.

As many other users already reported, clip was damaged when I tried to unclip it from cartoon. Ordered two but needed to throw them in the bin directly prior to usage.
