Review: Sturdy replacement switch - can be a bit fiddly to wire - Bought as a replacement for an old inline rocker switch for my 30-year old lava lamp. The new switch has a satisfying and definite click on and off, and being roughly the same size as the old switch it just feels like a more sturdy replacement. The switch was fairly easy to fit - albeit slightly fiddly (but I have small fingers and I persevered). I'm no electrician so can't comment on the fact that this is a 6A switch as opposed to the 1A switch I removed - but the fusebox hasn't tripped and the house hasn't burnt down yet.
