Lito 1, 4K Camera Drone for Beginners

So this is my first drone so not had experience with a great many but straight out of the box this is super easy and fun to fly. I recommend using the sim app before heading outside to get used to the basic controls down, as this is super useful, however, when you get it up in the air for real its really easy to get on with. Battery life is as advertised and I was able to fly for about 25 minutes (in slightly breezy conditions so was never going to get the full 32 minutes) and it was fully charged again in no time. Camera quality is really good for the price and I took some good aerial shots over my local park.. Video is also good quality and I was able to track my partner on a run with absolute ease. Only minor problem I had was was with the memory card I used. I kept getting a "write speed slow" warning message so it cut my videos short. Think this was down to the card and not the drone to be fair though, so I will test that with a better SD card. Overall, first impressions are really impressive and I'm sure I am going to be able to get some really good photos and videos as i get better with it. I highly recommend this as a good entry point into the world of drone photography.

This is my first drone, and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better one to start with. The setup was incredibly straightforward, especially with my iPhone. Downloaded the DJI Fly app, connected everything, followed the on-screen prompts, and I was ready to go in no time. The app is very intuitive and beginner-friendly – it walks you through each step clearly, including activation and firmware updates. Flying it is surprisingly easy. The controls feel smooth and responsive, and the stability in the air gave me confidence straight away. Even as a complete beginner, I felt comfortable after just a short practice flight. The QuickShots feature works brilliantly – just tap what you want to film and the drone automatically performs cinematic movements while recording. It makes you look like you know what you’re doing, even if you’re brand new! Video quality is excellent for the size and price, and being under 250g makes it super convenient. If you’re thinking about getting your first drone, I’d highly recommend the DJI Mini 4K. Great value, easy to use, and loads of fun.

out of the box it took a quick flick on YouTube to work out how to set it up, as no instructions came with it, However don't let this put you off as this is a fun little drone! its got a good solid brace that protects it when not in use and comes with a protective handy carry bag with a shoulder strap, there is also a clear cover to protect the camera when not in use, takes literally a few mins to set up or put away, take the brace off, unfold the 4 legs, take the camera cover off and set it somewhere flat, the controller has 2 slots on the edge to hold the remote control pins so it fits neatly in the bag, pull the stand up and slot in a phone, I've used an iPhone and android, both cables come with it, once you've got it connected I strongly advise watching a couple of you tubes to get you set up, once you know how its done its really easy, flys great, even in strong winds held its own, stood the battery life it said of 30 mins and came with 2 batteries, video quality is pretty good and so are the photos, I practiced by videoing the house and had to take a number of clips and photos at different times of the day for the sunlight as some images came out a little bleached, however when it captured in the right light I was impressed, I flew it for 30 mins over the fields and the range was good, really easy to manoeuvre and tried it indoors to see if I could move it around obstacles easily, and yes its intuitive, love the return to base feature and self landing, I've crashed it twice in the trees and it didn't break the propellers but it does come with spare if needed, but I love it, if I was buying again I probably would buy the new type with the props contained in a circle rather than this because I think I will end up getting through a few of them, I brought in the prime week offer so was a great price, I highly recommend as its a lot of fun and 4/5 easy to set up and use once you have watched a couple of videos. control is excellent too. you do need to buy an SD card if you intend to take a lot of photos

The DJI Mini 4K is an absolute winner, especially if you're a first-timer. The compact design is brilliant. It folds down to a very small size, and the best part is the sub-249g weight. This means currently you skip most of the annoying registration requirements, giving you instant freedom to fly almost anywhere. But MAKE SURE you read up this as it changes on January 1st Flying this drone felt like cheating! The setup was quick via the DJI Fly app, and its GPS stabilization is quick. You'll be getting confident shots on your very first battery, making the learning curve non-existent. For its size, the 4K video is surprisingly clear and good quality. The key to the professional look is the 3-axis mechanical gimbal, which keeps the footage glass-smooth even in light wind. Plus, the QuickShots feature is my favourite shortcut to great video; it automatically executes complex moves like the Dronie and Circle shots with a single tap! It feels light but durable and well made, don't get me wrong if you crash it will likely break. Final Verdict: High-quality 4K, incredibly easy to use, and small enough to take anywhere. This drone is an exceptional value and you absolutely will not regret buying it! Battery life in good conditions without wind circa 30mins, with wind more like 20mins Definitely invest in more batteries and make sure you cycle them round but only buy genuine batteries, I've read about non genuine and drones dropping from the sky, do your own reasearch

Excellent Drone even if a tad pricey but performance & 4K pretty crisp and clear, nice and simple controls and Return to Home is massive bonus along with obstacle avoidance (only failed once under a tree covered road) pilot error too as it was tracking backwards at the time, hit a branch, flipped upside down then righted itself then speared off sideways into big conker tree then landed upside down. picked up, checked props and was fine, flew again after a home indoor test and back in full service where i shot the footage in this review. So for Durability it gets a 5*. Batteries get a good 30 mins plus sometimes and quick to deploy. usual selfie quick shots also pretty neat. Portability wise i have small case and fits in pocket too as controller uses your mobile or in my case i use an old iphone to just use for this along with ease of Connectivity and the inbuilt Safety features and auto return and land if battery low . its about as Durable and easy to use drone than ever. Brilliant.

Only used twice but so far, great drone for those new to the drone world like me. Battery performance about 25 minutes in ideal conditions (advise to have at least 1 spare battery) and holds quite stable in mild to moderate winds. Camera quality excellent for my needs for photo and film and UK0 rating so no problem being close to people or buildings. Not tried the follow / tracking function yet so can't comment. Safety anti collision works as intended to either go around an object or hover / stop to await further command. The only negative seems to be that there are no way points / pre-determined route points to select on the DJI software map for the Lito 1 (which I didn't know) and users report that it will not be great for night use (yet to experiment with that). Overall a good starter to intermediate drone with good quality day images in VFR mode. If you want full IFR / FPV only with route planning, then an upgrade might be necessary. Although full IFR (out of sight use) would require an authorisation from the CAA no matter which type of drone you use anyway (in addition to Flyers and Operators Registration). The only other gripe which will apply to anyone without a screened controller is that if you are using your own mobile to attach to the controller, it will ask for everything! to be activated before it works as intended (wifi / bluetooth / gps location / no vpn's) and so not only can it eat more battery power but if you are using for pro use / work use and require discretion, I imagine it would be better using a dedicated phone or controller with screen to secure your privacy and use (despite the images feed already being encrypted). As a leisure user, no problem. Overall happy with the drone so far.

Absolutely frustrated - Automated response from Amazon saying can't find order. I've flown drones for a while and decided to get a newer model. I tested this one to get my bearings. First flight was a month after purchase in the garden for 2 minutes. I then flew it for 2 more minutes to see heigh and wind management (despite being none) and on the way down it dropped to the grass breaking one arm! I fixed up last week and I then took it for a fly on the local park this morning. I held position then went up - no battery issue and then just fell to the floor. It literally broke into pieces. My neighbour has the same drone and never had the drop issue - Again this could just be a fault on this item but without any direct connection to the supplier (via amazon) (no website or social media) I had such high hopes for this drone.... looks like its the most expensive paperweight I own - I HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS AS I JUST CANNOT GET THROUGH TO ANYONE TO FEED THIS BACK! - There should be a minus score as this doesn't deserve one star !!

Impresionante. Lo primero después de dar a despegar es que se queda estable a 1mt de altura esperando a ser dirijido. DJI no decepcióna, para un inicio en vuelo de dron , va perfecto, he volado los típicos de 60€ y éste DJI Mini4k los deja a la altura del betún. Vuelo totalmente controlable, sin sustos, ni perdidas de señal, ajustable en altura y distancia máxima y altura hacia el punto de retorno. Visión desde el móvil perfecta, sin pixelado. Foto y video sin tarjeta, 720k pero con una nitidez como un móvil, con tarjeta es impresionante. 3 modos de desplazamiento, sport, normal y cine, destacando este último por su sereno comportamiento. Destaca la sensibilidad del gimbal, horizontal 100%. Los mandos con un tacto agradable y un comportamiento sensible e inmediato. Con respecto al tiempo de vuelo, realmente, sin viento y sin grabar 30 minutos, más que suficiente para disfrutar. Al 10% de batería te avisa acústicamente que vuelvas al punto de salida. Recomendable 2 baterías extras. Por cierto, no te preocupes al intentar aterrizar y estrellarlo en el suelo, ya que al metro de altura se frena esperando a ver qué quieres hacer. Lo recomiendo como primer dron.

Love it DJI is best brand in budget drones it controls well its quality of pictures and video is amazing I love it it is good for your V logging of family out door fun and shoot it’s a bigger in size than the previous version and flying time has increased
