This fits nicely into the freezer and easily adjusts to your head size. It stays cold for at least an hour after you put it on. I love this. It's not exactly what I was looking for, but it's really good. First, there's no ice packs on the top of the head, but the ice packs around the head seem to do the trick. Second, the ice packs don't go all the way around. The space where there is velcro has no ice pack. You can place this in the back or in the front, depending on where you need the ice the most. I can use this and actually get out of bed and get things done. Unfortunately, when I get migraines and headaches, they are with me all day, and the one I bought generally lasts about an hour. I just came on here to buy a second and I'm hoping that will be enough to swap out so that I can have constant relief. If I need to buy a third, I will, though I'm hoping two will be enough. Four stars for the increase in the quality of life (thank you so very, very much). Fifth star would be if it lasted more than an hour and/or if the ice packs circled all the way around. Still quite grateful. PS- the little ice packs will fall out if you hold the hat upside down. At first I was annoyed that they weren't sewn in, but then I realized- how would you wash it if you couldn't take them out?
