I didn't know what to expect with an umbrella that opened and closed itself, but it is neat for what it does do. It fully opens on it's own and only closes the canopy when you push the close button. Any help beats no help at all and pushing the last bit of stem handle back isn't that big of a deal. We got them exclusively for traveling, since they are easy to carry in the side pouches for bottles on the side of our book bags. They are of very good quality and are wind resistant, so for the money, they are well worth buying. They are as good, if not better than the regular compact umbrellas. Would buy again.

I got this umbrella 2 years ago, I just came here to write this review as I’m about to buy a new one because I lost mine about a week ago. This umbrella is amazing, I live in NYC and it survived the awful winds here in the Long Island City waterfront it even survived me throwing it against the ground in an anger moment and my cute boyfriend picked it up and brought it back home to me and it was intact. Hell yes I’ m about to buy a new one, I hope the quality is still the same. If it’s not I will surely come back with an update.

Very sturdy compact, easy to use

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this umbrella. The strap feels sturdy, and the button easy to use. I like the rubber-like material of the handle and its texture. I only wish the handle was a bit longer; in high winds it would feel like a more secure grip.

I have purchased these umbrellas many times and will continue to because they are sturdy. These are heftier than other umbrellas I have owned and are a bit heavier but are worth it, even at a slightly higher price point.

This umbrella is SO pretty and well made. I can't wait to be able to use it. Also, it fits in my tote bag perfectly.

This umbrella beats my expectations!! It's sturdy and beautiful. The color is so pretty. Open and close button is a very welcome feature. I'm so glad l got it. Seriously thinking of getting a second one before it sells out!

Bought this for my son to use and after the first use, he was complaining it wasn’t working. I kept brushing him off, thinking he didn’t know how to use it properly and went to show him how to use it today and realized it was in fact broken. The umbrella won’t stay up on its own and has a string hanging down, which I’m assuming is the broken piece affecting use of the umbrella. I was going to buy another umbrella, which is why I took this one out to see if my other son would be able to use it, but I will look for other options.

This is the second one I've bought now. They work great. They are sturdy, and hold up well against the wind. The fabric is strong and the waterproofing is fantastic. The handle is comfortable to hold and the up/down buttons respond well. I love the variety of colours/patterns they have available too. I would happily buy one again.
