This is a RACE shoe!
First, this is not a walking shoe, standing shoe, or a slow jogging shoe. The unusual sole feels noticeable in the mid-arch when moving slow. When you start to actually run, it's an outstanding shoe. The best way to describe the sensation is that it almost feels like you're running downhill when wearing them. I have the Nike Vaporfly Next %, the Hoka Rocket X, the Saucony Endorphine Pro, and Atreyu Artist... all carbon plate shoes, as well. It's better than all the others except the Vaporfly and that's probably only because the Vaporfly is a lighter shoe. I'd say this shoe is meant to be worn at race pace. It's my normal interval shoe with most of the intervals faster than 6 minutes/mile. I take it off when I finish my intervals, just like I would with a pair of spikes. The shoe feels cushioned, responsive, light, and fast, which is great combination for fast running. The forefoot is comfortably wide. The fit is true to size. If you're looking for a comfortable, fast shoe for intervals or tempo days, this could be a winner for you.

Lightweight design naturally propels your stride forward
Best road running shoes I’ve ever had

Fast and bouncy. Gives back what you give.
Amazing on the track or for your fastest efforts. Weird at slower paces. It forces “good” form, which could decay at the end of a marathon and you’ll end up fighting the shoe.

These are not for everyone, and that's ok
I do distance running as a hobby and was really excited to get these on and test them out. My current go-to running shoes are the adidas adizero SL Running Shoes, which are nice for distance and slightly cushioned. When putting them side by side to these Wave Rebellion Pro 2's, there is probably 2x the amount of cushion on these vs the adizero's, so I was curious how this would effect my speed and the longevity of my runs. This shoe is probably the strangest shoe I've ever ran in. When I first put them on, I felt like I was walking on stilts. Getting used to the large amount of cushion aside, I think that running shoes are a very personal choice and the best fit for you is based on how your foot strikes when you run. So, it's hard for me to say that these are bad shoes, because I don't think that's the case at all. However, I personally did not enjoy running in them. I am an Over-Pronator when I run, meaning that my foot tends to roll inward when I strike, and these shoes make that absolutely miserable. I'd say it was borderline painful until I figured out how I'm supposed to run in these to prevent being in pain. I've read reviews about this shoe from professional running blogs, and they recommend this shoe for someone with amazing posture and form, which I (as a hobby runner) certainly do not have. The pain of wearing them aside, I thought they gave me a better mile time because of how springy they were, but I hated them so much that I ended up going home and changing back into my adizero's after the first mile of my run. I will say that they forced me to have better posture and focus more on where my foot was striking, which was kind of a cool experience given that I don't usually focus on that when I am running. I also didn't like the lack of ankle support, which might not be a problem for someone with a lot of strength in their ankles. Even with the challenges I had with these, I don't see myself abandoning these shoes altogether. I won't wear them for long distance runs, but I think I can use these to start training myself to strike mid-foot and have better posture when I run. I will probably throw these into the running rotation when I know I have a short run to do that day. Bottom line: These shoes are not for the novice or casual runner; these shoes are meant for experienced runners who are already good at running.

Very Strange shoe, put a lot of stress on your Arch
Not a bad concept and clever way to get around the 40mm stack height. But execution not very well, product feel lack of polish. Foam also not up to par with top tier PEBA based foam like ZoomX, FF turbo plus, or new full peba fuelcell used in SC Elite 4.
