I bought unit almost half a year back. Mine started having random issues, i am not sure if i just got a bad batch or not, but i notified the seller and he immediately sent me a brand new unit. Compared to the other vendors who either ghost you or disappear, I wanted to give these guys credit where its due. The unit works good, has good pressure and water flow. It feels heavy and seems to be made of all metal. The auto shut off float also helps prevent motor burn. Overall i am liking the unit.

I bought this particular pump at the suggestion of a man who owns a company that only deals in huge jobs and not residential fountains like mine. It is very solidly built and emptied my backyard fountain in minutes...very fast!! It is really meant for swimming pools, so it handles a small fountain super fast. Once a year, after running my fountain all summer, mud and debris collect in the basin where the pump sits and starts to turn the bubble at the top of my fountain muddy, so I use this to empty out the basin where the pump is and rinse the basin really well with a hose and put it all back together. This pump is great for the price of less than $100, and is stainless steele.

Stopped working within a year, will not start just trip my breakers. No way to reach them by phone and even to contact them by message. Dont buy

EASY GO INSTALL BUT THE TREAD CONNECTION TO PVC IS NOT THE STANDARD - PLASTIC PIECES MAKE IT OKAY TO CONVERT THE ATTACHMENT OF HOSE WORK. IT'S BEEN RUNNING VERY WELL AT A LOW NOISE LEVEL. SOME NEED FOR ADJUSTMENT TO MAKE THE FLOAT SWITCH FLOAT TO MOVE FREELY.

Powerful and sturdy pump. I’ve had this pump for about eight months now and have used it half a dozen times to empty my hot tub and some flooding reservoirs in my basement. I used a standard garden hose and everything worked well. One very important item I would like to point out, it took me a while to figure this out: MAKE SURE YOU START THE PUMP ONLY AFTER IT IS SUBMERSED IN WATER, OR IT WILL BE SUBJECT TO AIR LOCK. When I first got the pump, I was lifting the float switch sensor to get the pump going and then submersing the pump into the water. While the pump motor seemed to be running, nothing was being pumped out, and I couldn’t understand, I thought there was a problem with the pump. And then I realized air was in the system, which would lock up the mechanism (I should’ve realized this since I have a hot tub that is subject to the same issue). After I started using it properly by not starting it until it was submersed in water, it worked great!

This pump is working great. The best thing about this pump is that as long as the water level covers the bottom grate area, it primes and pumps. Several others that I tried (and then returned) required 5.5” - 6.4” of water to work. If one’s something is flooding, how could one think it’s acceptable to wait until the water level is that high to be able to pump it. I do recommend it.

Great sump pump needed during heavy rain. Easy to install…just ensure the float has enough room to move up and down freely or it won’t work.
