As a complete tanning novice, I’ve always avoided self-tanners because they seemed like too much faff — but this one was surprisingly easy to use. The lotion applied smoothly and, even though I worried about leaving streaks during application, the finished result was streak-free and very natural looking. It really feels quite foolproof, even for beginners.The instructions could be clearer on how long to leave it on (other than the six hours for a deep tan), but I left mine for around four hours after adding a second layer as suggested. After rinsing, I was left with a lovely natural glow and no transfer onto my sheets overnight. I imagine it would work well as a buildable tan too.The scent is strong coconut — which I didn’t mind at all, and definitely preferable to the usual “biscuity” fake tan smell. That said, I did notice a faint hint of the latter underneath, but nothing unpleasant.Overall, this is a brilliant, user-friendly tanning lotion that gives a natural result with minimal effort. Perfect if you’re new to self-tan and want something easy and reliable.

After a recent self tan disaster (St Moritz clear spray I’m looking at you!) I decided to go for a mousse and omg this is fantastic! Super easy to apply and dries almost instantly. I left for 8 hours then rinsed the guide off (the guide colour is not hugely noticeable once dried) and I’m left with a gorgeous natural looking EVEN tan. It’s not orange or streaky, my skin is soft and uniform and just looks healthy. I used a mitt and one of those back thingies and the whole application process took less than 10 minutes. Great great stuff!

Wow! This is brilliant. Went on without streaks. I followed advice from AI, didn't shower before but exfoliated day before, no moisturiser other than on drier bits. It gives a very light tan. No staining clothes or sheets. Impressed! Smells okay too.

I’ve used Bondi Sands on-and-off over the years, the product smells great and is really easy to apply with a standard mitt, I’ve never had any streaks or dark patches and coverage is generally good and pleasing. The two downsides (any why it only gets 4 starts) are that it really doesn’t seem to last long, a couple of days at best and even after showering a couple of times the transference onto white garments is still fairly apparentThe reason I keep coming back to Bondi Sands is because I know it won’t turn me orange, I’ve got application down to an art and by comparison to other tanning products is great value.

First time using any fake tan . This was brilliant !! Went on really easy with the tanning glove . Dried really quickly not sticky washed it off 6 hours later and I am really happy with the golden tan , looks really natural not orange . Only a little bit of tan came of on to my bra the next day . Went to a festival all weekend and tan still looks good . Would totally recommend this product. Love it

First time using this tan and can confidently say it will now be my go to. I’ve tried so many tans in the past that were either too dark and or left me looking orange. Because I’m ginger it can be really difficult finding a tan that looks natural, plus I am fair olive which makes the process that bit more difficult. This tan is hands down the most natural looking I’ve tried and I have tried quite a few over the years. The mousse went on really easily, smelled really nice going on but I will say the typical fake tan smell does appear once the tan has developed. I applied one layer and left it on for 3 hours before rinsing off which resulted in a beautiful natural looking glow. Definitely try if you’re nervous about tanning or are worried about turning orange.

I can honestly say "I'm a whiter shade of pale" and have tried MANY self tanning products (over 50 yrs), with the usual results, Streaks, tango orange, knees' and elbows looking rusty, Etc, this product is the best I've ever bought, ( I bought a velvet mitt kit to put it on, another good buy), no streaks and the TAN is a wonderful shade, just like you've been in the sun "and NOT orange" will defiantly be buying more,

Well it goes on well, smells amazing, it’s just a let down!Looks lovely if you want to apply it before going out but really only good for that same day. It doesn’t really tan overnight, no matter how much you put on!Doesn’t irritate at all so good for sensitive skin, shame it doesn’t “ do anything “!I use cheapo St Moritz with my Bondi Sands mitt and love that!

This is the best tanning foam. It smells great, goes on nicely and works well. Gives a great natural looking tan.

I've only used a few self tanners, but they all had that orange finish and a stinky smell that all us girls know means fake tan. A friend told me of this tanner, he had used many and said this was the best. I can honestly say it has given the most natural look. Very easy to apply (I got the mit)...no orange, so streaks and no smell.... after you shower off that is. At first after applying I thought, nope not gonna like it, the color was odd and there was a tad smell. But after wearing about 6hrs...per instructions, I showered and when the color started running, I thought great, that didn't last long (just another reason to not like it) but when I got out and dried off......wow.....great color! I really loved it. No thick orange color around knees, ankles, no odd smell. Directions say for best color reapply 30 min after initial application, I did not do that as I was testing out product and used only on my legs as I have a long sleeve dress for a wedding and very white legs, and really wanted a subtle natural color, not a true tan. I have no doubt the second coat would have achieved a nice deeper color.

Ho utilizzato la versione light-medium e ho ottenuto un colore molto naturale adatto a chi ha pelle chiara. Niente toni arancio. Sono rimasta sorpresa per l’effetto! Sembra abbronzatura naturale! Odore molto gradevole. Dopo la doccia non rimane nessun odore. Attenzione nelle ore di applicazione prima del risciacquo perché in quel momento il colore si trasferisce ovviamente sugli abiti. Io ho usato un vecchio asciugamano scuro. Super soddisfatta. Credo che rinnoverò l’applicazione a distanza di una settimana.
