Then I tried the battery tester functions and the tester worked very well and consistently with good quality connecting clips. I'm returning the Topdon tester and happily keeping this Ancel unit. I got the black case with it and it holds the unit, software cord, and battery tester snugly but with plenty of room to put other things like fuses and relays in it.
