**Q: How does this fare in baked goods & cooking?**
A: This product is very good. In cooking it is ok, and will suffice, but if you are cooking where taste is important don't use this product. As a table salt it is great just not a good cooking substitute.

**Q: what is the amount of potissum per serving**
A: 530 mg per one serving. One serving is 1/6th tsp

**Q: None of company's answers to user questions made sense to me.  Anyway, what is it? and in what proportions? potassium?  what else?**
A: It's almost pure potassium chloride (KCl), the other stuff is anti-caking/clumping agents.  Potassium Chloride is 52.445%* potassium by weight.  A 1g serving of 99% KCl provides 0.519g/519mg of potassium.  I'm not sure where they get 530mg, but they're allowed to round off so those numbers can never be trusted completely.  (* The molecular weight of K is 39.0983, Cl is 35.453)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best way to supplement potassium

I've tried actual potassium supplements, but they weren't cutting it. Only 100mg per pill. These shakers give you over 500mg in 1/6 tsp. These shakers quite possibly saved my life. I was having a poor diet, and apparently was incredibly potassium deficient. I experienced a pretty nasty condition called hypokalemia, which really screwed with my blood pressure, causing my heart rate to skyrocket. Within not even 1 day of adding some nu salt to my meals, my heart rate returned to normal. This product honestly is the best potassium supplement out there, and the price for a 12 pack of these shakers is unbeatable. I will definitely order these again once I've run through my current stock.
