It is worth picking up if you are in the mood for something festive with likable characters and a bit of humor. The book was in great condition when I got it. Review: Favorite book in the series - This is probably my favorite book in the series so far. I got into it in late November and it was a perfect start to holiday season. The beautiful copy with stenciled edges made this book feel like a Christmas present. This is another grumpy/sunshine trope, except Kira is the Grinch and Bennett is Santa. I adored the Christmas tree farm setting and how Kira's heart grew with love. I will definitely read the rest of the series! Book #3 is in the lead for me so far. The stories are heartwarming and captivating, with a bonus mystery story in each. And I’m sorry, but the whole book I was picturing these two as Nesta and Cassian because it’s like if their personalities were copy-pasted into a contemporary romance. Overall, it’s a lighthearted read that progresses just as you think it will. There’s nothing new or much depth here, but it’s still a fun holiday romp. Side note that I’d recommend an eyeball read over audiobook.
