I feel like the standard c2 you find in a typical gym feels more like being on the water and is more comfortable and smooth besides. Less jerky than the r1pro. Lately I'm experimenting with apps for training/tracking. Lots of cool apps out there for that, which integrate with my bluetooth HR chest strap, but guess what, they only work with the c2 (look around you'll figure it out), not with the dynamic r1pro. My cheapskate instinct did not serve me well in this case. The r1pro is not bad, but I should have bought a c2. I am not a rower and I have used the concept 2 before but for a person that does not row with very strong legs, it doesn't feel difficult enough and the Dynamic feels tough for me.
