Review: Disappointing. The lead wires are very, very thin ... - Disappointing. The lead wires are very, very thin and the strain relief feels too rigid for the gauge of the wires. The app has very limited functionality and says it needs to be upgraded to work with a future version of iOS. Apparently there is a newer version of the app for $4.99. I am not sure why I should have to pay for that when the existing app won't work for much longer. I don't know where the $99 goes but it didn't go to the product, app, or packaging... Update: The fancier app is now $1.99, but the "free" app isn't iOS 11 compatible.
Review: Works great, want more features - This product works well for me. Having run a few informal experiments with this, I can say with confidence that it successfully records the skin responses to emotional events (such as listening to music). I think the reviewers who have had bad experiences may not be putting the electrodes on tight enough to ensure good contact with the skin. You have to really have the velcro very tight. I also bought EMG electrodes to use with this but so far, that hasn't been necessary. I am able to get 5 conductivity readings per second (5Hz), which is great, but I wish that the downloadable software included a timestamp on the data of when the recording begins. I know that's not necessary for what the software/product is designed to do, so I can't really blame them, but it'd be cool to see this feature in the future. Update Feb 25, 2015: I have been using disposable electrodes for a few months now to enhance conductance. Make sure that the saline content is appropriate for EDA, not all are. They snap right in, which is great. It should be noted that in my experience, 5Hz is less data than most peer-reviewed studies usually use (10Hz is the lowest I have seen after downsampling). I'd really like to see an option to sample with greater frequency. One complaint I have with the software is that if you don't email the results prior to starting another recording, they are apparently not saved on the device and lost forever. Results are delivered in CSV format which can be converted for your open-source analysis software of choice. I would highly recommend this product for anyone conducting informal electrodermal activity research or teaching about EDA in a hands-on way.

### ⭐⭐ not able to get results
*by A***R on August 30, 2014*

I couldn't get any decent readings. It didn't provide any benefit close to the device at the bio feedback therapist. I followed the instructions but have not tried to contact the company yet
