Our front gate had a latch that could only be opened from inside the yard, but we were going out of town and asked a neighbor to water the garden for us. Instead of giving them a house key, we installed this lock and gave them the code. It was easy to install and works great. We like it so much that we bought a second one and installed on the back gate, so we were able to remove a key from our housekeys.

I have been looking for a solution to lock my backyard and have tried different locks. This one is by far the best solution and the nicest looking. Installation is a bit annoying when you don’t have a standard size door but it eventually worked. Depending on the setup the lock might not work as it requires the lock to be installed a few inches from the edge of the door given the length of the latch. If you already have a handle on the door you might end up having to move it to align it with the lock.

Good solution for our owners closet but unfortunately the numbers work in any order which is a little downside. They say this in the description but it is worth mentioning again.

This lock is exactly what I needed for my gate. The build quality is solid, and it feels very secure. Installation was straightforward, and I love that it doesn’t require any batteries or wiring. This is replacing a similar lock we had for 4 years on our gate. This one is so much better, the keypad is easier to push, and the slide lock is a lot smoother! We love it!

It stopped working properly just after my return date expired.

This is a good mechanical lock, and there are others on the site. But I made my decision on this lock because it was the only lock that gave very clear , descriptive dimensions and measurements. The gate had very specific measurements to complete. And this lock provided the info I needed.

Easy to fit once I worked it out and changed the handing, you will need a 10mm & a 16mm wood drill bit, which not everybody has. Puts 3 big holes in your fence, but is covered once fitted. Looks great, works perfect for secure but easy access to the garden without needing a key.

The timber on my door is a couple mm over 70mm and the screws holding the lock face together just about fit together. The larger of the 2 shim pieces that link the two faces together was too small though so i had to pilfer one from another make of lock that i had for a different door.
