Strong, durable and well made, these guards survived rain, mud and a number of trucks driving over them. Easy to use as the cables just drop right in and are easy to remove as well. The only drawback is when they first arrive. They retain a heavy manufactured rubber smell that doesn't go away quickly! Advise: put them outside for several days and wash them before attempting to use them indoors or a closed space. I have had mine for several weeks now and the smell has diminished greatly.
