Mobile Device Phone Tablet Holder for DJI Phantom 3 Standard Remote Controller Support 3.5-5.5 inch Smartphones and 7-10 inch Tablet iPad

After several disappointing years searching for a 7" LG tablet holder that is stable and feels secure for my P3S, this is it. Fastens to the single lanyard securing point of the older P3S controller quite securely with aluminum brackets, small hex bolts and spacers are included that fit tightly, allows for complete adjustment of the height of the tablet and the viewing angle, and can be used with a range extender positioned upright that can go over the single antenna. After install, there is still a hole to attach a lanyard, so this function is not lost. The install instructions posted with the product page sort of skip a few steps, but it's not hard to figure that out because there aren't that many parts to assemble anyway. No, I'm not a paid "plant" or receive any promotional consideration (or get a freebie for this review), it's just a product I would recommend to someone with an older P3S bird and controller.

I liked that it's a perfect fit, and is sturdy. The material is a fair quality, but the pictures looked like metal, but it's actually a sturdy plastic. The positive is that the plastic makes it lighter. There was no instructions included, but the Amazon advertisement included instructions. I still had one small piece left over. I would definitely recommend it. The price was very affordable

Installation instructions did not come with the product but are displayed on the amazon page, just a single half page black and white print out would add a star. The directions on the amazon page miss a couple of detail’s and further show different adjustments and setups in the pictures than what the instructions show. The over CAD design is great, I am unsure of the metal type used, it is not aluminum but seems to be a pop alloy which isn’t a killer for me but would like to ensure no cobalt, lead, etc is in there. On positive notes it does hold both my cell phones that I use (iPhone 13 and One Plus 9) and two different tablets that I use (a 7” android and a iPad 7 mini pro.) Though I am sure that it would/could hold my 11” IPad Pro gen2, I am not taking a chance on that. The large flat head screw on the bottom of the device holder is sturdy, but needs to be watched as it comes loose easily. Overall, for the price, the functionality and ability that this product provides I will give it 4 stars. If the seller would have thrown some instructions in the bag for those of us who are not constantly online…That would have improved my rating easily but the fact that I had to sit the playing round hole square peg until I got on here to look at the item to make sure I set it up as designed to find THE INSTRUCTIONS… just rubbed me the wrong way.

Don’t buy. The pieces look and feel cheap, there’s no way to tighten the clamp. Everything is loose and you have no to make it tighter. No instructions other than the picture posted with the listing.

Ordered 2, the arm slot would not fit the slot on the base. Requires a file to make fit on both units.

Works as designed to hold a iPad 8th gen on my P3S controller. No issues. Tools included for assembly too. Can't beat it.

Works great. Holds my phone securely

This mount is a vast upgrade over the stock P3S mount. It is very solid once put together and holds the phone tightly. I have a Huawei P30 with a bulky case and it juuuust fits in the holder. The controller feels much better balanced now also. There was no documentation or assembly instructions included, but it was easy enough to figure out and if you have even the slightest bit of mechanical inclination you'll be fine. Not fond of having 3 different size Allen wrenches AND a flathead to carry around, but that's the only complaint I have.

Very sturdy but light aluminum material. Worked great with my spare iPhone 11 and 11 pro max.

Parts attaching to controller are aluminum with decent finished quality. Item comes with tools, 3 different sizes of Allen key etc. Phone/tablet holder is made of plastic. OK quality. Unfortunately for me, tablet side iz too big for Samsung Tab A 7". Tablet is just over 4" wide and holder at it's lowest does not grip my tablet. I decided to modify it myself, so I will keep it.
