Morpurgo Collection

We LOVE Michael Morpurgo and our boys flew through these books and loved every one of them but the seller REALLY needs to work on their packaging. Luckily these weren’t gifts. The box wasn’t wrapped or protected and was just placed in an envelope. On arrival it was battered, ripped and had damage all around. Even the cellophane wrapper was ripped which leaves me to believe that the packaging was damaged before they even sent it. I’ll be buying from another seller from now on.

I love the book Marble Crusher the most. The story of Conker is my favorite story in it. The story is set in autumn. It is about a boy and his dog. My favorite part is when they adopt Conker the dog because it is the happiest part of the story. I would give this story five stars.

Chaque histoire de Morpurgo nous transporte dans un monde différent. Heureusement, les histoires sont relativement courtes car il est difficile de refermer le livre avant de l'avoir fini. C'est un vrai plaisir d'avoir un coffret car à chaque fois qu'on finit un livre, un autre attend. A noter, le livre War Horse n'était pas dans ce coffret et cela m'a déçu car j'avais justement choisi ce coffret pour ce livre là...

The War of Jenkins' Ear, The Marble Crusher, Waiting for Anya, Twist of gold, From Hereabout Hill, The nine lives of Montezuma, Little Foxes, My friend Walter.

My 10 year old loves this author and was very excited when he received this set as he only expected one that he had asked for. He is still reading them now so he would highly recommend this item.

I wanted to buy War Horse and Kensuke’s Kingdom, according to the description these two are included however they aren’t!
