Worked exactly as expected
Worked exactly as expected and solved the problem without any issues. The part was easy to install, functioned properly right away, and seems to be good quality. Great to have a reliable replacement at a reasonable price.

Fun way to learn about Dallas One Wire sensor connections
These devices are great for learning about Dallas One Wire for connecting sensors. Not sure about practical value once the learning is completed, but it is interesting to see this connectivity actually work. There are plenty of Arduino Examples to get a good feel for what is possible.

Accurate and easy to use!
Work great on Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects to sense temperature VERY accurately. Great buy!

Good bang for the buck
At first I was skeptical because this sensor is about 20 bucks on Digikey, of course that was is from a renowned manufacturer, but still, for what I need this for, I prefer a cheaper one that works just like the original one, which this one does. Not sure how long it may last though. But so far so good.
