It has lots of different functions like how fine you want your beans ground, strength of coffee, holds up to 10 cups or 5/6 mugs. Let's you know when it needs descaling and can be pre set to come on at a time of your choice. Very easy to clean and can be used with the filter basket or paper filters. I have knocked one star off as the only down side for me is the longest time you can set the hotplate for is only one hour. As I live alone I would prefer a couple of hours so I could make more to keep me going longer. All in all for the money this is a great machine and I would definitely recommend it.
