I like that you can adjust to 2 different positions for sleeping and can be used fir reading or watching TV in bed. It can also be used to elevate feet and knees. This pillow unzips so that washing the cover is easy. It is a nice width so it is easy to sleep on without rolling off. It is a firm foam and I think it will last for a long time. I'd been thinking about getting a wedge pillow for awhile, but hadn't gotten around to it, until I had laparoscopic abdominal surgery earlier this month. I thought it would be easier to sleep propped up and easier to get out of bed if I wasn't flat, and hoped it would alleviate the gas pain while I slept. I ended up not having much pain (and no gas pain whatsoever!), so I only used the pillow to sleep for a week, but it was very helpful! I also found a second surprise use for it, I often work sitting on my couch and I propped this pillow up behind me, it's great back support so I'm not slumped over or "shrimping." I think it would also be good support if I wanted to sit and work in bed, I just haven't done that yet.It's dense and very supportive, but not hard, there's just enough give for me. I thought I would have a hard time falling asleep with in "tall" mode and would have to flip the orientation so it was longer and flatter, but I ended up finding it very comfortable. I feel like I remember it came shrink-wrapped and rolled up, and I was a little worried, but it ended up unrolling and rising to its full height very quickly!I docked a star just because the velcro is super loose and not really sticky, and overall not great quality, and the straps on the headrest don't really hold it on very well.
