Review: Great dino ATF for an old Camry - This is the only ATF that I will use in my wife's 1996 Camry with 300,000 miles on it. And it runs like new. I use synthetic in the engine but prefer dino in transmissions this old. Toyota will want you to use their petroleum ATF (D-II) but talk to the Toyota service manager and ask "what will you use when you replace my ATF fluid" and in my case the local dealer said "we only use ATF WS in the shop for all cars." That's crazy (even the parts counter guy said that's crazy) because these are very different ATFs! So do the research and you will find that the Transmax Import specs are very close to Toyota's ATF D-II and Dexron II, and Castrol makes a high-quality ATF. Side note, after one complete flush ages ago, I simply perform an annual drain and fill. Use TLC with an old transmission! Lastly, the quart sized bottles are super convenient to use and I've not had any problems with damage during shipping.

**Q: Can I use it in a 2000**
A: Honda s2000?  2000 model year Ferrari? 2000 individual mini cooper's? Perhaps the answer isn't in the answer. Perhaps the answer is in the question. As in, why would you touch your vehicle if you can't ask an appropriate question?

**Q: does this fluid replaces ATF-Z1?**
A: ATF-Z1 is Dex3 with a friction modifier. This will cover that spec. As the trans ages & wears you may be better served by using a higher viscosity fluid such as AMSOIL ATF. If you are doing a drain & refill, the ffirst one is about 44% new fluid replacement. The 3rd. one will take you to 85%. Think diloution rate vs. volume.

**Q: Can this work w/ toyota camry 1999 uses dexron iii? also, can i mix other brand dexron iii (not for hi mileage) w/ this castrol atf for high mileage?**
A: Yes and yes.  However, in my experience, Dexron VI (even in an old worn transmission) will dramatically improve shift quality even in transmissions rated for Dexron III or Toyota Type IV (which is rebranded Dexron IV).
